Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for associating different watermarks detected in media. An example method disclosed herein includes determining whether a first watermark detected in a media signal is represented in a watermark data structure and associating the first watermark with a first media presentation record associated with a second watermark in response to the first watermark being associated in the watermark data structure with the second watermark. The example method further includes transmitting monitoring data including the first media presentation record to an audience measurement entity.

The example one or more processors are to segment a message to be transmitted to a configuration device into a first message segment and a second message segment, store the first message segment in a characteristic memory, and transmit a first advertisement to the configuration device when the first message segment is stored in the characteristic memory. Additionally, the example one or more processors are to after the first message segment has been gathered by the configuration device, store the second message segment in the characteristic memory and transmit a second advertisement to the configuration device when the second message segment is stored in the characteristic memory.

Methods and apparatus for wireless communication with an audience measurement device

Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed. An example system includes: interface circuitry; programmable circuitry; and instructions to program the programmable circuitry to: obtain audio of a media presentation; obtain ambient noise in an area associated with the media presentation; determine an intensity of a difference between the audio and the ambient noise; and determine an engagement level of an audience of the media presentation based on a duration the intensity satisfies a threshold value.

Example invertible metering apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes at least one processor and memory including instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to at least: determine an orientation of a housing; determine if a housing is in a mounting orientation; in response to determining that the housing is not in the mounting orientation, initiate a first alarm; in response to determining that the housing is in the mounting orientation, determine an orientation of a stencil; determine if the stencil is in an upright orientation; in response to determining that stencil is not in the upright orientation, initiate a second alarm; and in response to at least one of the housing being in the mounting orientation or the stencil being in the upright orientation, assign a light pattern to a plurality of lights associated with the stencil.

Invertible metering apparatus and related methods

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to update audio sensor configuration are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory, instructions in the apparatus, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: in response to detection of an update to audio sensor configuration, identify a plurality of potential audio sensor configurations to be used to receive audio, select respective ones of the identified potential audio sensor configurations for testing, determine signal-to-noise ratios corresponding to each of the selected ones of the potential audio sensor configurations, select the greatest signal-to-noise ratio of the signal-to-noise ratios, compare the greatest signal-to-noise ratio value and a noise ratio change threshold, and in response to the selected greatest signal-to-noise ratio value exceeding the noise ratio change threshold, update a configuration memory to cause use of the potential audio sensor configuration corresponding to the selected greatest signal-to-noise ratio.

Example invertible meter apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example meter to monitor a media device includes a housing having a display and a plurality of walls. Respective ones of the walls are between respective ones of openings such that the openings are isolated from adjacent ones of the openings. A removable stencil includes a plurality of visual indicators, where the visual indicators to align with respective ones of the openings.

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to perform audio sensor selection in an audience metering device are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least two audio sensors to receive audio at an audience metering device and a selection tester to identify a plurality of audio sensor configurations supported by the audience metering device, the plurality of audio sensor configurations identifying respective gain values to be applied to the plurality of audio sensors. The selection tester is further to select one of the first one of the audio sensor configurations or the second one of the audio sensor configurations based on a comparison of a first quality metric and a second quality metric. The example apparatus further includes a media identifier to identify audio received at the audience metering device using the selected one of the audio sensor configurations.

Example metering apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes a stencil and a housing having a display area. The display area has a recessed cavity defining a front surface of the display area. A front surface of the stencil is to be flush mounted relative to the front surface of the display area defined by the recessed cavity when the stencil is positioned in the display area of the housing. A cover is removably coupled to the housing to enable access to the display area.
