A system is disclosed providing visualization of a production control framework. The system includes a database storing production control data associated with one or more entities and a production control system coupled with the database and configured to model a production control framework of the one or more entities. The production control system includes one or more work centers authorizing one or more tasks for one or more parts and one or more manufacturing processes that produce one or more finished parts using the one or more parts.

System and method for a demand driven lean production control system

A system and method is disclosed providing visualization of a production control framework. The system includes a storage medium stored therein one or more user interfaces providing a visual representation of one or more graphical elements representing one or more entities, the one or more entities comprising one or more work centers, wherein the one or more work centers each comprise one or more user interfaces. The system further includes a storage medium stored therein a job queue display within the one or more user interfaces and a plurality of tasks for each of a plurality of parts produced by the one or more entities.

A system and method is disclosed for providing levelness of a production schedule. The system includes a computer configured to access demand data of one or more items to be processed within a sequence of tasks, access the demand data of the one or more items, calculate one or more time intervals for each of the one or more items, and calculate a weighted average for each of the one or more items. The computer is further configured to calculate a time ratio according to the sequence of tasks by calculating the average of the calculated time intervals and the calculated weighted averages and calculating a minimum ratio of an adjusted time interval for each of the one or more items and the calculated weighted averages. The computer is still further configured to generate a production schedule based on a sequence of tasks having a predetermined calculated time ratio.
