Systems and methods for providing a dynamically configurable interface for structured note dictation input for one or more electronic health record (EHR) systems generally comprise a dictation user interface, a dictation management subsystem, and at least one EHR system having a plurality of electronic medical records. The dictation management subsystem generally comprises a computing device configured to moderate the recognized text for a particular EHR system and particular electronic health record.

Dynamically configurable interface for structured note dictation for multiple EHR systems

Initiating document management in an enterprise network from outside of the network can challenge information technology (IT) specialists because many solutions require altering security of the enterprise network. In an embodiment, a method includes polling, from an automated agent in an agent-side network, a server in a cloud-side network for a request to access a document management resource of the agent-side network via an interface between the agent-side network and cloud-side network The method further includes, responsive to the polling, downloading the request via the interface between the agent-side network and the cloud-side network. The method additionally includes issuing the request to the document management resource to cause the document management resource to access a document stored on a device of the agent-side network and perform an operation associated with the request. The method, therefore, enables a user access to the document management resource from outside of an enterprise network.

Voice and touch based mobile print and scan framework

Features of content may be identified using a server that is coupled with a client unit via a bandwidth-limited communications link. In one embodiment, the client unit forwards a subset of representations of the content, such as a lossy compressed version of an image, to the server. The server analyzes the image and forwards information regarding the features included in the content to the client unit. If the server determines that a sufficient number of representations are not available, the server requests the client unit to forward additional representations. An embodiment of the present invention reduces usage of the bandwidth used by the bandwidth-limited communications link by having the server request subsets of representations of the content rather than transmitting all representations for remote processing in a manner supporting a division of labor by the client unit and the server.
