A 3D surface wound, injury, and personal protective equipment (PPE) data entry system provides an easily usable graphical user interface through which an examiner can objectively record data relating to surface wounds and injuries sustained by a subject human, as well as PPE used when the wounds/injuries were sustained. The system includes a 3D human model onto which the examiner draws the surface wound(s) and/or damage to the PPE. The subject human's record is stored in a database of similar records. The database records comprise quantifiable, objective data that is easily compared and analyzed. An analysis tool can aggregate a selected population of human subjects within the database to create wound density information that can be statistically analyzed and/or displayed on a standard 3D human model. Such objective wound density information may facilitate improved medical and/or tactical training, and improved PPE design.

Method and apparatus for collecting and analyzing surface wound data

A method and system for analyzing continuous bit segments taken from a general data channel and classifying the sampled data by type, such as: voice, audio or data. B contiguous bits are converted to plus and minus deltas. The B-replaced values are then padded with B contiguous zeroes and the Fourier Transform of the padded sequence is computed. Method and system for calibrating relative fields of view of multiple cameras

A camera calibration system providing a first transmitter capable of transmitting a first signal; a second transmitter capable of transmitting a second signal; a second receiver and a third transmitter capable of transmitting a first plurality of signals. The present invention analyses an existing legacy system, such as a Physician's Office Management System, and automatically extracts, reformats and sends required data to a service company, which may be for example, and insurance company. It begins by feeding the legacy system 'seed data' and monitors the legacy system storage device to determine a 'raw map' of where and how the seed data is stored. It then culls out multiple records, single records, inconsistent records in the raw map. Control flow information is also extracted. This indicates which fields are 'key' fields and are used to extract other information. These key fields must be acquired before their related data. After the data is located and the order is determined, a script is automatically created to extract the data. The data is then extracted and reformatted in a predetermined format determined by the service company, and the required data is automatically sent, by conventional means, to the service company.

Automatic transmission of legacy system data

An interactive surgery planning and display system mixes live video of external surfaces of the patient with interactive computer generated models of internal anatomy obtained from medical diagnostic imaging data of the patient. The computer images and the live video are coordinated and displayed to a surgeon in real-time during surgery allowing the surgeon to view internal and external structures and the relation between them simultaneously, and adjust his surgery accordingly. In an alternative embodiment, a normal anatomical model is also displayed as a guide in reconstructive surgery. Another embodiment employs three-dimensional viewing.
