A winch control system is disclosed. The winch control system may be used to control or operate a winch on a vehicle in a selected mode, such as a plow mode. The winch control system may include or receive input from selected sensors relative to the vehicle to assist in control and operation of the winch.

Winch control system

Techniques for automatic control of a vehicle are disclosed. The vehicle may include a removable input device having various modes of operation. For example, a coupled mode of operation may control the vehicle when an operator is in an operator area of the vehicle, while a remote mode of operation may enable vehicle control when the operator is outside of the operator area. The vehicle may include object sensors to detect a target such as the removable input device or an operator device. Accordingly, the vehicle may automatically follow the target. The vehicle may also identify obstacles, in response to which manual control of the vehicle may at least temporarily be provided to the operator, after which automatic control may resume.

Systems and methods for vehicle communication are provided, for example to provide various connectivity and functionality according to hardware availability, power constraints, and environmental conditions, among other examples.

Vehicle communication and monitoring

A winch and plow control system is disclosed. The winch and plow control system enables automatic control of a plow attached to a vehicle in order to raise and lower the plow based upon a vehicle parameter. The vehicle parameter can be a gear input that is monitored to automatically raise and lower the plow depending upon the gear selected. Wireless and remote control of the winch is also available, as well as a back-dragging automatic plow mode and a normal automatic plow mode.

Winch and plow control system

A flexible lens mount for securing a flexible lens having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The flexible lens mount comprises a resilient member, a base member, and a fastener. The resilient member includes a first end, a second end, and a first surface adapted to abut the second side of the flexible lens. The resilient member is adapted to be flexed to form a first arc of about degrees D of about radius R. The base member includes a second surface forming a second arc which complements the first arc. The second surface is adapted to abut the first side of the flexible lens such that the flexible lens is disposed intermediate the first and second surfaces. The base member further comprises a first retaining member disposed at one end to retain the first end of the resilient member, and a second retaining member disposed at an other end to retain the second end of the resilient member. The fastener abuts either the first or second end of the resilient member to exert a force to secure the resilient member relative to the base member.
