Circuit and method for reducing use of battery power during suspend mode operation of a computing device. Output impedance circuitry coupled to voltage regulation circuitry produces a feedback voltage and converts an output signal, produced in response to an input voltage and the feedback voltage, to an output voltage. A portion of the impedance of the output impedance circuitry is altered by control circuitry in response to a control signal, thereby causing changes in the feedback voltage, the output signal and the output voltage.

Circuit and method for improved battery life during suspend mode

In one example a docking mat for an electronic device comprises a first major surface on which the electronic device may be positioned, a wireless power transmitting device, and a controller comprising logic, at least partly including hardware logic, to determine a location of the electronic device on the first major surface of the docking mat, establish a communication connection with the electronic device, receive at least one charge parameter from the electronic device, and activate the wireless power transmitting device in response to a determination that the electronic device is positioned proximate the wireless power transmitting device and the at least one charge parameter indicates that the electronic device is in a condition to receive power from the wireless power transmitting device. Wireless docking mat for electronic devices

An electronic device may be provided that includes a first housing. The first housing may include a plurality of electronic components, and a circuit board having a first surface and a second surface. At least one of the electronic components may be provided on the second surface of the circuit board. The circuit board may be configured as a chassis of the first housing.
