A configurable golfing apparatus including a rectangular handle portion. The rectangular handle portion includes a golf club shaft that is securely mounted within the configurable golf club handle. The rectangular shape provides new and additional hand placement and new and additional configuration capabilities for both right handed and left handed golfers. The configurable golfing apparatus allows different golf club heads (e.g., drivers, irons, putters, etc.) to be inserted and removed from the configurable golfing apparatus. The golf club shaft inside the rectangular handle portions complies with straightness, bending and flexibility, and twisting and torque, properties and attachment to a golf club head requirements for a golf club shaft required by the United States Golf Association (USGA) and Royal and Ancient (R&A) Golf Club of St Andrews rules and functions in a manner similar to a golf club shaft not enclosed in a rectangular handle portion.

Configurable golfing apparatus

In various example embodiments, a system and method are provided for blending a group of layers with multiple blend modes such that additional style layers are applied to the layer group's combined shape, and clipped as if the style layers were applied to a single layer with the combined transparency of the group's layers. In example embodiments, for each of a plurality of layers: a group background is blended behind a group buffer, one of the plurality of layers is blended on top of the group buffer while ignoring a transparency of the group buffer, and the background is factored out from the group buffer. When the blending is complete, a style or effect is applied to the blended layers, and the background is blended behind the group result such that the group result transparency such that the style is clipped to the group result.

Blending with multiple blend modes for image manipulation

A system and method of creating interactive visual content in which base visual content, a selection of a trigger event associated with the base visual content, and intermediate visual content are received as an input. Viewing visual content derived from the base visual content is automatically generated. The viewing visual content can be displayed by a viewing application executing on a computer. A set of regions of the interactive visual content in which swap visual content is to be displayed by the viewing application when the trigger event occurs is automatically generated. For example, regions of the viewing visual content that are to be replace by the swap visual content when the trigger event occurs can be identified. Also, the swap visual content is automatically generated from the intermediate visual content. In addition, instructions operable to cause the computer executing the viewing application to display the swap visual content in the identified regions when the trigger event occurs is automatically generated. Moreover, the intermediate visual content can be received by providing a user interface enabling a designer to edit the intermediate visual content as an integral unit.
