A siphon elbow for pivotally connecting a first pipe and a second pipe in fluid communication. A first elongated body has a bore extending therethrough and a partially spherical indentation within the bore. A second elongated body has a bore extending therethrough and a generally spherical extension on a first end that pivotally engages the partially spherical indentation of the first elongated body. An internal locking system is disposed in at least one of the bores and locks the second elongated body into an operating configuration in which an angle formed between the first elongated body and the second elongated body is less than 180-degrees. Pivoting of the second elongated body from an installation configuration in which the angle is approximately 180-degrees to the operating configuration activates the internal locking system.

An apparatus for removing fluid, such as condensate, from the inside of a rotating cylinder. The apparatus comprises a syphon shoeproximate to an inside surfaceof the rotating cylinder. The syphon shoeis connected to a syphon pipe. The syphon shoefurther comprises two opposing circumferential openingsand a divider. The two opposing circumferential openingsare disposed substantially parallel to the direction of rotation of the rotating cylinder. The divider separates the opposing circumferential openingsand extends radially from the end of the syphon shoe

Bi-directional pick-up shoe

A turbulence bar assembly for a cylinder that extends in an axial direction includes a plurality of bars that extend in the axial direction and at least one hoop. The at least one hoop has one or more hoop segments that are connected to the plurality of bars and one or more couplers that are in engagement with the one or more hoop segments to expand and contract a radial dimension of the at least one hoop in response to movement of an adjustment block in the axial direction.

Turbulence bar assembly

A cam and follower system for use with an automatic doffing system of a rotor spinning machine. The system includes a cover member for covering the cam lobes of a cam gear found in the automatic doffing system of a rotor spinning machine. The system also includes a cam follower for connection to the automatic doffing system. The cover member has cam surfaces which are complimentary to and which act to renew the original cam surfaces of the cam gear's cam lobes. The cam follower is adapted to engage and ride upon the cover member's cam surfaces during operation of the automatic doffing system.
