Micronized polymers suitable for use in fuels and lubricants having a particle size distribution of less than 30 microns obtained from water-soluble solid organic polymers is provided. A fuel composition is provided that contains a major amount of a mixture of hydrocarbons in the gasoline boiling range and a minor amount of at least one p-alkoxy-N-alkyl aromatic amine and at least one dicyclopentadiene. Use of such additive compound in a combustion engine is also provided.
