Provided is a fluid pump assembly. The pump has a pair of housings magnetically coupled to each other. The first housing contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second housing contains a magnetic assembly and a blade for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first magnetic assembly is rotated by the drive motor, the magnetic connection to the assembly in the second housing causes the second magnet to rotate, driving the blade.

A catch tray for a terrarium container. The tray comprises a rectangular bottom wall, first opposite rectangular side walls each separated from the bottom wall by one of first folding lines, and second opposite rectangular side walls each separated from the bottom wall by one of second folding lines. Each of the first and second side walls is oriented upwardly with respect to the bottom wall and connected to the bottom wall by the corresponding first or second folding line. Each of the first side walls is separated from adjacent one of the second side walls by two triangular corner panels connected to each other by a corner folding line and to the adjacent first and second side walls by the first or second folding lines. The triangular corner panels folded inwardly with respect to the side panels so as to define triangle shaped flaps disposed inside the tray.

A lighting assembly includes a light guide having opposite first and second major surfaces and at least one edge surface extending between the first and second major surfaces, a solid-state light source arranged to emit light into the edge surface of the light guide, and a plurality of integrated optical elements associated with the first major surface to redirect the light emitted by the solid-state light source. The lighting assembly may further include an air circulation device and a heat transfer system configured to transfer heat generated by the solid-state lighting source to a flow of air generated by the air circulation device. The solid-state light source may include light-emitting diodes, laser diodes, and/or organic light emitting diodes configured to produce multiple colors. The present invention relates to fluid pump assemblies in general, and in exemplary embodiments to fluid pump assemblies that are magnetically supported in position, and to related kits and methods useful to circulate water in aquariums. The fluid pump assembly comprises an outer mount, an inner mount, and a pump. The outer mount includes at least one outer permanent magnet; the inner mount includes at least one inner permanent magnet; and the pump includes at least one soft magnetic material. The outer permanent magnet, the inner permanent magnet, and the soft magnetic material collectively form a magnetic circuit.

A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. A nozzle houses the second magnetic drive member and the blade. The nozzle is detachably securable to an interior surface of the sidewall by a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic drive members. A fluid pump assembly is used in combination with a container having a wall. The pump assembly comprises a first casing disposed outside the container in contact with the wall, a first magnetic assembly mounted to the first casing and operatively associated with a drive motor, a second casing disposed inside the container in contact with the wall, and a second magnetic assembly mounted to the second casing and operatively associated with an propeller. The first magnetic assembly includes a rotatable magnetic drive member drivingly coupled to the drive motor. The magnetic drive member is magnetically coupled to the magnetic driven member through the wall for imparting a rotary driving force of the drive motor to the propeller. Furthermore, the second casing is detachably connected to the second side of the wall of the container solely by magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic assemblies.
