A ball valve with a ball rotatably mounted within the housing. The ball is rotatable between an opened configuration, in which fluid flows through the ball, and a closed configuration, in which a ball seat engages a housing seat to prevent fluid from flowing through the ball valve. The ball may include one or more biasing members that urge the ball seat away from the ball and toward the housing seat. An engaging face of the ball seat may have a spherical or toroidal shape and an engaging face of the housing seat may have a conical shape. The ball seat may have up to six degrees of freedom related to the ball when the ball is in the closed configuration and the ball valve under pressure.

Ball valve

A surge relief angle valve (SRA) is disclosed. The surge relief angle valve is held normally-closed by one or more compression spring(s). In certain embodiments the surge relief angle valve includes a body containing a disc and disc seat; a piston and shaft, the piston and shaft in communication with the disc and disc seat; and a spring providing a force against the piston; wherein the spring is enclosed within a housing and wherein the surge relief valve has a closed self-contained hydraulic system containing the piston and shaft, and providing a dampening force against the spring force.

Surge relief valve

Embodiments include a check valve that comprises a valve body defining an inlet port and an outlet port; a disc disposed within the valve body, wherein the disc is coupled to a pivot shaft and the pivot shaft is coupled to the valve body; a lever arm coupled to the disc, wherein when the disc rotates the lever arm rotates; an actuator shaft couple to a motor, and a first interference element coupled to the actuator shaft, wherein the lever arm contacts the first interference element when the disc is in a maximum open position; wherein when the motor rotates the actuator shaft moves longitudinally along its axis to move the first interference element thereby changing the maximum open position. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Check valve control unit

A two-way damper is provided including a retaining member and a baffle. The baffle comprises a flexible member with a first portion secured and held in a fixed position by the retaining member and a second portion normally oriented in a first position, but free to move relative to said first position. The baffle also comprises a third portion, arranged between the first and second portions, being flexible and resilient and allowing the second portion to move to a second position relative to the first position upon the application of a pressure differential across the baffle above a threshold pressure and causing the second portion to return to the first position upon the application of a pressure differential across the baffle below the threshold pressure.

Two-way damper

A valve actuator including a body, a rotatable drive screw having an external thread over at least a portion of its length and extending through the body and projecting out at least one side of the body. An internally threaded member is captured on the drive screw on the interior of the body, the member being held against rotation during rotation of the drive screw, so as to cause the member to travel along a length of the drive screw as the drive screw is rotated in both a first and second rotational direction. At least one sleeve having an abutment surface engagable by the member upon a sufficient rotation of the drive screw in one of the two directions. The sleeve surrounds the drive screw and may be axially adjustable relative to the drive screw from the exterior of the body. The sleeve may be threadingly engaged with the drive screw and slidingly carried in the body such that a load created by the threaded member pressing against the abutment surface of the sleeve is transferred from the sleeve to the drive screw as a tensile load.

Adjustable actuator stop

A valve actuator includes a body having at least a first side and an interior. A rotatable, threaded drive screw extends into the body and projects out of the body first and second sides. The drive screw comprises an insertion portion and a distal end portion. A traveling nut is threadingly captured on the drive screw in the body interior. The traveling nut is held against rotation whereby it travels along the drive screw as the screw rotates. An actuator arm engages the nut and is configured to be urged between valve open and closed positions as the traveling nut travels along the drive screw. A first collar is attached to at least a portion of the drive screw insertion portion and has at least a bearing for rotatably engaging the body. A second collar is attached to at least a portion of the drive screw distal end portion and has at least a bearing for rotatably engaging the body.

Valve actuator with split thrust bearing

A flange is provided for a valve which extends in a radial direction outwardly from the valve and has a peripheral edge. The peripheral edge is comprised of a series of outer surfaces positioned at or beyond a first radial distance from a center point of the valve, and may be in the form of tabs, and an alternating series of inner surfaces positioned at or within a second radial distance from the valve or flange center point, as intervening portions. At least one of the outer surfaces and inner surfaces may be sized and arranged to supportingly engage a plurality of series of connecting bolts which extend perpendicular to the radial direction, wherein the plurality of series of connecting bolts are arranged on bolt circles of different diameters relative to the valve.
