A system for creating and maintaining financial assets which accentuate different types of sub-loan level risk associated with a plurality of home mortgage loans and which are configured to operate as hedges against risks that oppose the different types of sub-loan level risk is provided. A decomposition tool is configured to decompose each of the plurality of home mortgage loans into a plurality of sub-loan level cash flows. A repackaging tool is configured to repackage the plurality of sub-loan level cash flows to form the financial assets. Repackaging includes selecting a sub-combination of the plurality of sub-loan level cash flows, packaging the sub-combination of sub-loan level cash flows to create one of the financial assets, and repeating the selecting and packaging steps to create additional financial assets. A graphical user interface is configured to display information relating to the sub-loan level cash flows and financial assets on a display.

System and method for creating financial assets

A computerized accounting system is described herein. At least a portion of the accounting system may have a service oriented architecture. The accounting system may include an accounting service that is capable of storing versioned accounting policies. The various accounting policies may be used to process accounting data to determine the effect of the various accounting policies on the financial results. Also, the accounting system may include an event processing framework which, in one embodiment, may be used to amortize loans, securities and/or guaranty fee items.

A data construct represents a financial asset in a data processing system. The data construct comprises description data, a cash flow map, and process instructions. The description data further comprises creation, purpose, and transaction information data describing the financial asset. The cash flow map further comprises information on cash flows that flow into the financial asset. The process instructions include information on cash flow processing for the cash flows that flow into the financial asset.

Cash flow aggregation system and method

A method that comprises acquiring a home mortgage loan having a loan asset and a servicing asset and compensating a servicer that performs servicing of the loan during a term of the loan. The compensation provided to the servicer does not decrease through time during the term of the loan.

Servicer compensation system and method

A computer-implemented cash flow decomposition and repackaging system comprises processing logic and a graphical user interface which is coupled to the processing logic. The processing logic decomposes each of a plurality of home mortgage loans into a plurality of sub-loan level cash flows and repackages the plurality of sub-loan level cash flows to form a plurality of financial assets backed by the plurality of sub-loan level cash flows in accordance with operator inputs. The user interface displays indicia representative of the sub-loan level cash flows, the financial assets, and a relationship between the plurality of sub-loan level cash flows and the plurality of financial assets, including a manner in which at least some cash flows are traceable back to one or more of the plurality of home mortgage loans.
