The invention relates to a storage and order-picking system as well as a method for operating the same. In this regard, provided articles are loaded into hanging bags in an article-specific manner, and subsequently, groups of hanging bags are formed in a hanging bag sorting device based on an article-grouping rule. In a further step, articles of a group are transferred from the hanging bags into an article storage loading aid. The article storage loading aid configured differently from a hanging bag is then stored in an article storage of the storage and order-picking system. Upon receiving a picking order, the article storage loading aid is transported to a picking station, at which the ordered article(s) is/are loaded into a target loading aid.

The invention relates to a method for picking order goods which are allocated to an order comprising a plurality of shipping containers. In the method, order goods allocated to the order are removed from a store (), transported into a dynamic buffer () and stored there temporarily. The dynamic buffer () comprises an infeed line (), an outfeed line (), a plurality of buffer lanes () arranged between the infeed line () and the outfeed line (), and at least one return lane () arranged therebetween. If a portion of the order goods available in the dynamic buffer () is sufficient to fill a predefinable number of shipping containers and is ready for packing, this portion of the order goods ready for packing is discharged from the dynamic buffer (), transported to a picking workstation () and transferred, there, into the predefined number of shipping containers. The predefined number of shipping containers is smaller here than the total number of shipping container necessary to fulfill the order. Method and goods storage system for picking goods with efficiently operated dynamic buffer

The invention relates to a warehouse system and a method of operating the same, whereby a plurality of different packaging units () are placed in storage on delivery pallets as storage units in a goods-in store (). The properties of the packaging units are detected in a data bank and a conveying property is determined from the packaging unit properties, and a classification group is assigned to the packaging units () by a computer. The packaging units () are distributed, temporarily stored and loaded onto despatch pallets in the warehouse system in accordance with the classification group.
