An illustrative stent may comprise an elongated tubular member having a first end and a second end and an intermediate region disposed therebetween. The elongated tubular member may include at least one flexible tie affixed to an end thereof. The tie may allow the stent to be attached to a lumen wall with a clip, such as a retention clip, to inhibit migration of the stent within the body lumen.

Anti-migration stent

Example medical devices are disclosed. An example medical device includes an elongate member having a proximal end region, a distal end region and an outer surface. The medical device also includes a plurality of filaments braided together in a first braided pattern along a first braided region of the elongate member, wherein the plurality of filaments extend continuously to a second braided region along the elongate member, wherein the plurality of filaments along the second braided region form a second braided pattern different from the first braided pattern.

Resection tools and related methods of use

A drainage catheter may include a polymeric tubular member and a braided reinforcement that is disposed about the polymeric tubular member. The braided reinforcement may include a repeating braid pattern that extends over a first portion of a length of the drainage catheter and a modified braid pattern that extends over a second portion of the length of the drainage catheter, the modified braid pattern providing a region without any braid filaments. The drainage catheter may include a drainage hole that extends through the polymeric tubular member within the region without any braid filaments.

Braided drainage catheter

A guide catheter may include a tubular member having an inner layer defining a lumen extending therethrough, a reinforcing braid disposed about the inner layer, a plurality of steering wires interwoven through the reinforcing braid, and an outer layer disposed about the reinforcing braid. At least a portion of the reinforcing braid may be embedded within the outer layer. An introducer sleeve may be slidably disposed over the tubular member. A flush port element may be operably connected to the introducer sleeve.

Integrated catheter system

An implantable medical device for implantation within a passageway of a patient comprises a stent including a plurality of wires, at least one of the plurality of wires having a cross-section having a first tapered point, and a covering layer having an inner diameter and an outer diameter. In some embodiments, the plurality of wires may be disposed at least partially around the covering layer. Additionally in some embodiments, the first tapered point may extend outward further than the outer diameter of the covering layer.

Stent with anti-migration features

An endoprosthesis includes a stent having an inner surface defining a lumen and an outer surface; and a polymeric cover on the outer surface of the stent. The polymeric cover includes a base and adhesion elements. When the endoprosthesis is expanded to the expanded state in a lumen defined by a vessel wall, the adhesion elements create an interlock between the vessel wall and the endoprosthesis.

A medical device may include an elongated shaft. The elongated shaft may further include a reinforcement member having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may include a polymer having a first degree of crystallinity. The second portion may include a second degree of crystallinity different than the polymer of the first portion.
