Provided is a roll-slide mobile terminal in which a front area of a flexible display unit is variable, for solving a problem of an electric field portion narrowing due to a structure for the variation of the front area, the roll-slide mobile terminal comprising a first frame, a second frame sliding in a first direction with respect to the first frame, the flexible display unit, a first guide rail fixed to the first frame to be parallel to the front area of the flexible display unit and provided in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a first slider moving in the second direction along the first guide rail, and a link rotatably fastened to each of the first slider and the second frame to move the second frame according to movement of the first slider.

Roll-slide mobile terminal

In a roll-slide mobile terminal having a flexible display in which a front area is expanded or reduced, in order to solve a problem that the flexible display is not stably supported when expanded, there is provided a roll-slide mobile terminal comprising a first frame, a second frame configured to slidably move in a first direction with respect to the first frame, a display part configured to be flexible, having a front surface provided on a front surface of the first frame, wound at an end portion in a first direction of the second frame, and provided over a rear surface of the second frame, wherein a front surface area is expanded or retracted in response to a movement of the second frame, and an expansion support part configured to expand in the first direction in response to an expansion of the front surface area of the display part to support the front surface area of the display part.

Disclosed herein is a mobile terminal switchable from a first state to a second state by extending in the first direction, including a first frame, a second frame movable from the first frame in the first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a slide frame movable in the first direction or the second direction with respect to the second frame, and a support link having one end hinged to the first frame and an opposite end hinged to the second frame, the support link having a variable length. The mobile terminal may maintain a flat state regardless of change in the state of the mobile terminal by preventing the front surface from being separated or sagging.

Disclosed is a mobile terminal including a first frame, a second frame sliding from the first frame in a first direction or in a second direction, a slide frame movable in the first direction or in the second direction with respect to the second frame, a flexible display unit including a third region bent while surrounding the second frame, and a rolling plate having one surface, wherein the flexible display unit is attached to said one surface of the rolling plate, wherein the rolling plate includes a plurality of support bars extending in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and arranged side by side in the first direction, and each connector positioned between adjacent two of the plurality of support bars and having a thickness less than a thickness of the support bar, wherein the support bar and the connector are manufactured integrally of the same material.

A mobile terminal includes a first frame having a first side-face, a second frame moveable in a first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction from the first frame, and having a second side-face facing the first side-face, and a slide bar positioned between the first side-face and the second side-face, and extending in the first direction, wherein the second frame moves in the first direction to convert a state of the mobile terminal from a first state in which the first frame and the second frame are overlapped with each other to a second state, and wherein the second frame moves in the second direction to convert the state from the second state to the first state. The mobile terminal reduces friction between the first and second frames through a simple slide structure, so that the state conversion between the first and second states is easy.

A flexible display device including a first body and a second body; a hinge portion connecting the first body and the second body in a relatively rotatable manner; a flexible display unit disposed on one side of the first body and the second body to be folded and unfolded by the relative rotation; a cover member disposed between the first body and the second body; and a lever connected to the hinge portion to rotate in conjunction with the folding and unfolding of the flexible display unit and configured to engage the cover member to move the cover member outwards to cover a space between the first body and the second body formed by folding the flexible display unit.

Disclosed herein is a mobile terminal including a first frame, a second frame slidably movable from the first frame in a first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a slide frame movable with respect to the second frame in the first direction or the second direction, a flexible display comprising a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region disposed between the first region and the second region, the third region being bent in a manner of surrounding the second frame, and a first magnet positioned on a rear surface of the second frame and configured to provide magnetic force to pull the slide frame or the flexible display. The mobile terminal may allow the size of the screen to be adjusted as needed, thereby satisfying both portability and usability.

In order to achieve the above or other objectives, a mobile terminal according to an aspect of the present invention comprises, a first body; a second body rotatably connected to a first direction side of the first body; a hinge part which is placed between the first body and the second body so as to rotatably connect the second body to the first body; and a flexible display unit, one side of which is placed on one surface of the first body and the other side of which is placed on one surface of the second body, wherein the flexible display unit is bent according to a change in the angle of the hinge part. The mobile terminal has an advantage in that the flexible display unit is slidably coupled to at least one of the bodies so as to be slidingly moved according to a rotation of the hinge part, and thus no folding occurs in the surface of the flexible display unit placed on the hinge part.
