A digital radiographic detector system includes a number of DR detectors enclosed by a housing. A base section with wheels has attached thereto a vertical column with a height adjustable horizontal arm extending therefrom. The housing with DR detectors therein is attached to a distal end of the horizontal arm. The housing comprises a major surface made from a radiolucent material to allow the detectors to capture radiographic images via x-rays transmitted through the major surface of the housing. The housing is configured to support the plurality of DR detectors therewithin.

Digital radiography detector for long-length imaging

A digital radiographic image sensor includes a flexible first substrate with an image sensor array. A scintillator is formed over the array, and bonding pads in a peripheral region outside the array are connected to the array. A second substrate is attached to a bottom of the first substrate and includes a scribed or perforated break line to enable removal of a peripheral region of the second substrate.

An image sensor array formed on a flexible first substrate is supported by a flexible second substrate attached thereto. The second substrate has a top surface with an adhesive thereon for attaching the substrates together. The adhesive is on a portion of the second substrate directly beneath the image sensor array to allow selective formation of the second substrate.

Modular single shot digital radiography for long-length imaging

A long length radiographic imaging system uses a plurality of overlapped radiographic detectors each comprising a housing having stepped housing edges at opposite sides of each detector. The stepped housing edges mate with each other to easily form overlapped aligned detectors for simultaneously capturing a long length radiographic image of a subject in a single exposure of the x-ray source.

Synchronizing operation between a digital radiographic detector's integration periods and an x-ray generator's x-ray pulse rate by transmitting a frame rate to the detector and the generator. In a first mode, the detector monitors one or more pixels to detect an x-ray pulse. The firing time of the detected x-ray pulse relative to an internal clock of the detector is used to synchronize the detector's integration periods with the pulse rate of the x-ray generator based on the transmitted frame rate and the detected firing time of the x-ray pulses. Successive pulses may also be used to determine a frame rate without prior transmission thereof.

Synchronization for dynamic imaging

A mobile CBCT imaging system is constructed on a mobile base. A scanning ring having an x-ray source and one or more curved detectors is connected to the mobile base. The scanning ring is configured to be spatially positioned as desired by an operator. The source is configured to revolve about an imaging axis and to emit radiographic energy toward the imaging axis, and the one or more detectors has an array of photosensors disposed along a curved surface facing the imaging axis.

The scanning ring is configured to be spatially positioned as desired by an operator. A digital radiographic detector detects a first mode signal and dispositions a received digital image according to a procedure associated with the first mode signal. A second mode signal results in dispositioning a second received digital image according to a second image disposition procedure. The detector determines the first mode or second mode based on the signal's pulse width, a number and timing of rising edges (peaks), a digital code, a voltage level, or a combination thereof.

A slot scanning system and method for imaging a patient. The method comprises: providing a source of x-ray radiation, directed toward a subject; providing a large flat portable freely-positionable non-tethered stationary digital detector spaced from the source and positioned to receive the x-ray radiation; providing a slotted collimator intermediate the x-ray source and digital detector; and generating a digital x-ray image of the patient by combining a captured plurality of line images.
