One disclosed system comprises a server; a receiver device with a receiver identifier; a dialer device with a dialer identifier; a dialer programmed to initiate a voice call, over a voice channel, with the receiver device using the receiver identifier; a database; and a data channel connecting the dialer device, the receiver device, and the server. The database stores interaction data in association with both the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier. The system is programmed to: obtain a voice sample from the voice call; process the voice sample to obtain a search cue; obtain one or more interaction data from the database using the search cue; obtain a response data from the one or more interaction data; and surface, during the voice call, the response data to one of the dialer device and the receiver device.

One disclosed system includes dialer device with a dialer identifier that initiates a call with a receiver device with a receiver identifier over a voice channel. A database stores: interaction data in association with both the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier; a content quality metric in association with the interaction data; and a network topology in which the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier are associated with nodes and are connected by an edge. A server is programmed to: update, based on the content quality metric and the network topology, a rankings associated with the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier; and one of: surface the ranking associated with the dialer identifier and the ranking associated with the receiver identifier to an external searching agent using an external data channel and without using any voice channel; or rank the dialer identifier for an internal searching agent using the ranking.

Methods and systems are disclosed that facilitate a commercial data platform that enhances the interaction between a dialer and receiver during a voice call by simultaneously delivering and tracking data content that promotes ongoing commerce and interactions between these parties. One such system includes first and second interaction managers on a dialer device and a receiver device that transmit first and second sets of interaction data to a database during a call. A server obtains receiver content data from the database using the receiver identifier, transmits the receiver content data to the dialer device, obtains dialer content data from the database using the dialer identifier, transmits the dialer content data to the receiver device, and stores data from both the first set of ID and the second set of ID in the database in association with both the receiver identifier and the dialer identifier.

A biomolecular expression information processing system has procedures and tables that store abundance datasets and hybridization data. The tables also store information identifying a microarray technology type for each hybridization and microarray design information for each microarray technology type. The microarray design information includes technology data that specifies global characteristics of each microarray, and array element data that specifies characteristics of array elements in each microarray instance of the microarray technology type. Disclosed is a relational database system for storing biomolecular sequence information in a manner that allows sequences to be catalogued and searched according to association with one or more projects for obtaining full-length biomolecular sequences from shorter sequences. The relational database has sequence records containing information identifying one or more projects to which each of the sequence records belong. Each project groups together one or more biomolecular sequences generated during work to obtain a full-length gene sequence from a shorter sequence. The computer system has a user interface allowing a user to selectively view information regarding one or more projects. The relational database also provides interfaces and methods for accessing and manipulating and analyzing project-based information.

Disclosed is a relational database system for storing biomolecular sequence information in a manner that allows sequences to be catalogued and searched according to one or more protein function hierarchies. The hierarchies allow searches for sequences based upon a protein's biological function or molecular function. Also disclosed is a mechanism for automatically grouping new sequences into protein function hierarchies. This mechanism uses descriptive information obtained from 'external hits' which are matches of stored sequences against gene sequences stored in an external database such as GenBank. The descriptive information provided with the external database is evaluated according to a specific algorithm and used to automatically group the external hits (or the sequences associated with the hits) in the categories. Ultimately, the biomolecular sequences stored in databases of this invention are provided with both descriptive information from the external hit and category information from a relevant hierarchy or hierarchies.
