The invention relates to a method for vacuum deposition of circuitry onto a thermoplastic material. In one of its aspects, the invention relates to a vacuum deposition of circuitry for automotive applications. In another of its aspects, the invention relates to a vehicular lamp housing incorporating a circuit placed thereon by vacuum deposition. In another of its aspects, the invention relates to a vehicular lamp housing with vacuum deposition of circuitry powering light-emitting diodes. In another of its aspects, the invention relates to a vehicular lamp housing with a vacuum deposition of circuitry powering removable incandescent lamps.

Method for vacuum deposition of circuitry onto a thermoplastic material and a vehicular lamp housing incorporating the same

A lamp assembly comprising a transparent body having a front surface and a back surface, the back surface having at least one convex curved portion, each such convex curved portion having at least one axis perpendicular to the front surface, and an internally reflective curved surface facing the front surface of the transparent body, a cavity in each convex curved portion, having sidewalls and a bottom, adapted to receive a light emitting source, and a reflective surface at the bottom of each cavity oriented so that light emitted by the light emitting source is reflected by the reflective surface onto the internally reflective curved surface of the convex curved portion. In some embodiments, the internally reflective curved surface also provides one or more electrical circuits for one or more light emitting sources.

Vehicular lamp assembly with a simplified structure and CHMSL and tail lamp incorporating the same

A console-stored video display unit is provided that can be extended to a viewing position wherein the video display unit is adjustable both about a vertical pivot axis as well as a horizontal pivot axis to allow tilting and other reorientation of the video display unit to provide for optimal viewing results by occupants of the passenger compartment of a vehicle. In addition, the video display unit, when extended to the viewing position, can be vertically adjusted to place the video display unit in an optimal viewing height for whatever the ergonomic considerations happen to be for occupants of the vehicle interior. The display unit also includes a console interface portion forming a smooth, aesthetically-pleasing surface for the console when the display unit is positioned in a retracted position within the console.

Vehicular console with adjustably-mounted video display unit

A console assembly is provided for mounting within a vehicle interior in an area between a pair of seats. A vehicle support member is provided on the vehicle interior having a quick connect fastener provided thereon. A carrier is adapted to mount to the vehicle support member and an operational lever is pivotally mounted on the carrier for movement between first and second positions. A quick connect fastener is connected to the operational lever at a lower portion thereof and is adapted to mate with the first quick connect fastener on the vehicle support member. The operational lever and carrier can thereby be assembled as a unit to the vehicle and the shift lever can be assembled to a vehicle shifting/braking mechanism through the quick connect fasteners.
