Services for trust conveyances of entities can be provided and managed. In connection with a transaction between first and second devices, a trust management component (TMC) can indicate trust levels of entities associated with the devices with regard to the transaction and/or an action attempted by an entity. With regard to an action attempted by the first entity, the trust level of the first entity can be evaluated to determine whether it is high enough to allow the action to proceed or to have the second entity respond to the action accordingly. If it is not high enough, the second entity, using the second device, can request a trust conveyance from the first entity via the TMC. The TMC can adjust the respective trust levels based on the outcome(s) of the action(s) of the respective entities with regard to executing the transaction.

Methods, computer-readable media, and devices for tracking an accessing of a media content via a watermark embedded by a network node are disclosed. For example, a processing system including at least one processor may receive, from a first network node, a first copy of a watermark that is embedded by the first network node in a media content. The processing system may further receive a notification comprising a second copy of the watermark and an identification of a first endpoint device, the notification associated with an accessing of the media content by the first endpoint device, and record the accessing of the media content by the first endpoint device.

A processor or processors such as those in a smart speaker can identify audio requests received through at least two agents in a network and determine at which of the agents to actively process a selected audio request. The identification can make use of techniques such as location context and secondary trait analysis. The audio request can include simultaneous audio requests received through at least two agents, differing audio requests received from different requesters, or both.

Management and configuration of internet of things network connected devices is facilitated herein. A proxy device comprises a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, facilitate performance of operations that comprise determining a first identity and a first operational parameter of a first device and a second identity and a second operational parameter of a second device. The first device and the second device can be associated with a defined communication network. The proxy device can be provisioned within the defined communication network and can operate as a security update proxy node for the first device and the second device. The operations can also comprise facilitating a first security update at the first device and a second security update at the second device based on a determination that the first device and the second device have delegated responsibility for security synchronization to the proxy device.

A social communities assistant system may serve as a proxy for a user when communicating with social networking communities. The user may have a single interface on, such as an application, to communicate with a plurality of social communities. As a proxy, the social communities assistant system may manage parallel communications among the social communities on behalf of the user. The social communities assistant system may manage communications of various types. These types of communication may include queries, responses, statements, event notifications, or actions, among other things.

The present disclosure provides task delegation and cooperation for automated assistants. In one example, a method performed by a processing system that is in communication with a plurality of automated assistants includes receiving, a query indicating a task with which a user desires assistance, parsing the task into a plurality of sub-tasks including a first sub-task and a second sub-task, identifying a first automated assistant of the plurality of automated assistants that is capable of performing the first sub-task and a second automated assistant of the plurality of automated assistants that is capable of performing the second sub-task, and formulating a proposal for responding to the query, wherein the proposal comprises a sequence in which the plurality of sub-tasks is to be performed and a mapping that assigns the first sub-task to the first automated assistant and the second sub-task to the second automated assistant.

Concepts and technologies directed to optical networking with hybrid optical vortices are disclosed herein. Embodiments can include a system that is configured to perform operations for optical networking with hybrid optical vortices. The system can include a hybrid optical switch that can communicatively couple with another network device via one or more nanofiber communication paths. The operations can include receiving, from a first nanofiber communication path, a hybrid optical vortex that carries an internet protocol packet. The operations also can include decoupling the hybrid optical vortex to extract an optical vortex that encapsulates the internet protocol packet. The operations also can include switching the internet protocol packet to a subsequent communication path based on the optical vortex that encapsulates the internet protocol packet.
