Devices, systems, and methods for support structure inspection are provided. In one example implementation, a system can include one or more sensors configured to obtain data associated with a condition of a support structure, such as a utility pole. The system can include one or more processors. The system can include a communication circuit operable to communicate a data packet to a remote device. The data packet can include a payload generated based at least in part on the data associated with the condition of the utility pole. The system can include a power source operable to provide electrical power to the one or more sensors, one or more processors, and the communication circuit.

Support structure inspection devices, systems and methods

A system including a first luminaire housing, a second luminaire housing, and a controller. The first luminaire housing includes a first light source configured to provide illumination to a first location, and a first I/O device configured to sense a first data set corresponding the first location. The second luminaire housing is separate from the first luminaire housing and includes a second light source configured to provide illumination to a second location, and a second I/O device configured to sense a second data set corresponding to the second location. The controller is configured to receive a portion of the first data set and a portion of the second data set, combine the portion of the first data set and the portion of the second data set to form a third data set corresponding to the first location and second location, and output the third data set.

System and method for integrated surveillance and communication into lighting equipment

An apparatus for a wireless switch. In some embodiments, the wireless switch includes an input device, a radio, a memory, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to place a mode selection indicator in an asserted state in response to a first manipulation of the input device, and to operate the wireless switch in a wireless mesh network communication mode in response to the mode selection indicator being placed in the asserted state.

An apparatus for a wireless switch. In some embodiments, the wireless switch includes a button, a battery, a radio, a memory, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor may be configured to operate the wireless switch in a wireless mesh network communication mode; and in response to a user input from the button, reboot the wireless switch; operate the wireless switch in a Bluetooth operating mode; receive a switch configuration; store the switch configuration in the memory; reboot the wireless switch a second time, and operate the switch in the wireless mesh network communication mode.

An emergency lighting system including a light source, a variable constant current drive, an emergency alarm, and a controller. The light source includes a first light channel that produces light at a first correlated color temperature and a second light channel that produces light at a second correlated color temperature that is less than the first correlated color temperature. The variable constant current drive is configured to supply DC current to the first light channel and the second light channel. The emergency alarm is configured to be triggered upon detecting the presence of an emergency condition. The controller is configured to determine whether the emergency alarm is triggered, increase the DC current supplied to the first light channel when the emergency alarm is not triggered, and decrease the DC current supplied to the first light channel when the emergency alarm is triggered.

Emergency lighting color temperature control

A refrigeration appliance including both a user interface and door position sensor. The same devices and sensors are for both functions. The user interface is mounted on a door or mullion in such a way that all or nearly all of the input devices on the user interface are activated simultaneously or nearly simultaneously when a door is closed so that the user interface can distinguish this action from user inputs in which only one or two input devices are activated at a time. Likewise, when all input devices are inactivated nearly simultaneously, the user interface may know that a door has been opened.

A voltage transducer for a lighting system can include an input operable to receive an alternating current input power. The voltage transducer can include a current sink circuit operable to provide a current sinking output. The voltage transducer can include one or more control devices configured to determine a magnitude associated with the alternating current input power. The one or more control devices can be further configured to control the current sink circuit to adjust the current sinking output based, at least in part, on the magnitude of the alternating current input power.

A refrigeration apparatus includes a dispenser for dispensing water or ice into a receiver vessel. The dispenser includes a dispense command input for receiving a dispense command from a user and a code reader for interpreting an identification code associated with the receiver vessel. At least one controller is operatively connected to the dispense command input to receive the dispense command, and to the code reader to receive a vessel identification based on the interpreted identification code. The at least one controller controls the dispensing. A memory is configured to store the vessel identification in association with a usage parameter for the vessel. The at least one controller determines whether water/ice has been previously dispensed into the receiver vessel. When the at least one controller has determined that water/ice has not been previously dispensed into the receiver vessel, the at least one controller causes the usage parameter to be stored in the memory, in association with the vessel identification, based on the dispense command received from the user.

A refrigerator includes a refrigerated compartment and a door to open and close at least a portion of the refrigerated compartment. A dispenser is positioned on the door that is configured to dispense content into a receiver vessel. The dispenser includes a control unit, an actuation system controlled by the control unit, and a dispensing outlet through which the content flows from the dispenser and into the receiver vessel. The dispenser further includes a trough located below the dispensing outlet for collecting overflow content from at least one of the receiver vessel and the dispensing outlet. The dispenser further includes a sensor coupled to the trough and in electrical communication with the control unit. The sensor is configured to detect overflow content contained within the trough. A method for controlling the dispensing of content from a dispenser is also described.
