A heat exchanger brazing fixture including a baseplate including a first surface and a second surface located opposite the first surface and a first post including a first end and a second end located opposite the first end. The first post is operably associated with the first surface of the baseplate at the first end. The A heat exchanger brazing fixture further including a top plate operably connected to the first post and separated from the first surface of the baseplate by a selected distance. The top plate being configured to move in a first direction along the first post when a heat exchanger resting upon the first surface of the baseplate expands during a brazing process.

Brazing by expansion using a spacer

A rotary phase separator system generally includes a step-shaped rotary drum separator (RDS) and a motor assembly. The aspect ratio of the stepped drum minimizes power for both the accumulating and pumping functions. The accumulator section of the RDS has a relatively small diameter to minimize power losses within an axial length to define significant volume for accumulation. The pumping section of the RDS has a larger diameter to increase pumping head but has a shorter axial length to minimize power losses. The motor assembly drives the RDS at a low speed for separating and accumulating and a higher speed for pumping.

Rotary drum separator system

Heat transfer surfaces in condensing heat exchangers are often coated with a hydrophilic coating to provide wetting and wicking. This coating is typically porous and continuously moist during operation and, therefore, a potential breeding ground for microbes. The inclusion of an antimicrobial agent, such as silver oxide, in the coating inhibits microbial growth and improves adhesion to the heat transfer surfaces.
