Systems and methods for interactive mobile fitting of hearing aids are provided. The method includes a mobile device receiving a reduced size fitting data set having a set of sampling points from a hearing aid. The method includes interpolating the reduced size fitting data set into a continuous fitting curve presented at a display of the mobile device with user interface objects that each correspond with one or more sampling points. The method includes receiving a user input manipulating a user interface object. The user input adjusts a value of sampling point(s) corresponding to the user interface object to generate an updated reduced size fitting data set that is communicated to the hearing aid. The method includes generating a substitute complete fitting data set based on the updated reduced size fitting data set for application to input audio to generate modified audio that is output from the hearing aid.

System and method for interactive mobile fitting of hearing aids

Apparatus and methods for multi-source audio amplification and ear protection devices are provided herein. In certain configurations, an audio amplification and ear protection device includes at least one microphone that generates an ambient sound signal based on detecting ambient sound, at least one speaker, and an electrical system that controls sound outputted by the at least one speaker based on amplifying the ambient sound signal and a secondary sound source signal. The electrical system receives a first user-controlled volume signal that is operable to control an amount of amplification provided to the ambient sound signal, and a second user-controlled volume signal that is operable to control an amount of amplification provided to the secondary sound source signal.

Multi-source audio amplification and ear protection devices

Apparatus and methods for audio amplification devices are provided herein. In certain configurations, an audio amplification device includes a device body, at least one speaker, an electrical system housed in the device body, and one or more light elements integrated into the device body. The electrical system is configured to control an output of sound to the at least one speaker. Additionally, the electrical system controls the one or more light elements, such as by controlling light intensity, flashing rate, and/or color, to thereby enhance safety to the user.

Apparatus and methods for headsets, such as multi-source audio amplification and ear protection devices, are provided herein. In certain configurations, protection headset system includes a removable growth band that fills the gap of the user and a headband of the device. The device may optionally have at least one microphone that generates an ambient sound signal based on detecting ambient sound, at least one speaker, and an electrical system that controls sound outputted by the at least one speaker based on amplifying the ambient sound signal and a secondary sound source signal. The electrical system receives a user-controlled volume signal that is operable to control an amount of amplification provided to the ambient sound signal, and/or an amount of amplification provided to the secondary sound source signal.

A game call speaker system having a body portion, first speaker unit configured to rotate about a first axis, a second speaker unit configured to rotate about a second axis and a memory comprising one or more stored game calls is provided. Rotation of the first speaker unit may be independent of rotation of the second speaker unit. The first axis may be substantially parallel to the second axis. In some embodiments, the game call speaker system is configured to emit the stored game calls over a relatively wide angle (e.g., 360 degrees) relative to the body portion.
