A compound isolated from a bacterial species from the sea squirt,, and having a chemical formula of CHNOis also provided. Compositions including turbinmicin and turbinmicin compounds, such as pharmaceutical compositions including effective amounts of turbinmicin or turbinomicing compounds for treating fungal infections such asand, including drug-resistant strains thereof, are also disclosed.
