A method of operation of exhaust valves of an adjustable exhaust port 2-stroke motorcycle engine with a two stage exhaust valve system includes: providing a control rod mechanically coupled to a governor, so that the governor causes a rotation of the control rod. A first stage exhaust valve, a second stage left exhaust valve, and a second stage right exhaust valve are also controllably linked to the control rod; and operating the second stage left exhaust valve and the second stage right exhaust valve by opening at least one of the second stage left exhaust valve and the second stage right exhaust valve before the first stage exhaust valve is completely open in an overlap operation. Related methods and structures for overlap, and/or stagger, and/or limiter operation of exhaust valves of an adjustable exhaust port 2-stroke motorcycle engine are also described.

A system, method, scope device, and camera control module device for a video endoscopy system, to enable scopes to operate with a rolling shutter-type image sensor. With selected pulsing of a strobe light, subset image data from adjacent rolling-shutter frames is selected, gain compensated for missing light and combined into a new single video frame.

Video endoscopy

A system for indicating an area of interest on an image, including a source of image data, an image processing unit, a user interface, and a destination, which may be a display. The image data may be ultrasound, X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic resonance tomography, computed tomography or surgical image data. The image processing unit may be configured to receive the image data from the source and combine it with a desired overlay pattern selected from a plurality of overlay patterns for indicating an area of interest on the image, which is then displayed on the display. The overlay pattern may include a key with coordinates or labels. Properties of the overlay pattern and the image data may be adjusted independently or automatically.

Multi-source medical display

A modular video imaging system, and more particularly, a modular video imaging system having a control module connectable to multiple input modules. The input modules each capable of receiving differing types of image data from different types of cameras and processing the image data into a format recognizable by the control module. The control unit providing general functions such as user interface and general image processing that is not camera specific.

Modular medical imaging system

A video laryngoscope system includes an imager, an audio processing circuitry, a light source, an exposure controller, and a line gain module. The imager generates a first frame and a second frame of a plurality of video frames using a rolling shutter. The audio processing circuitry determines a base frequency of a vocalization based on an audio signal. The light source generates pulses of light based on the base frequency. The exposure controller adjusts a duration and position in time of the pulses based on the base frequency during the first and second frames. The line gain module selectively applies a line gain to at least a portion of the first frame and a portion of the second frame based on a gap time between the first frame and the second frame and the duration and position in time of the pulses.

Vocal cord stroboscopy

A system for identifying an area of interest on a surgical image, including a source of surgical image data, which may be a camera, an image processing unit, which may be a camera control unit, and a destination, which may be a display. The image processing unit is configured to receive the surgical image data and combine it with an overlay pattern for identifying an area of interest, which is then displayed on the display. The overlay pattern may include centric lines, concentric ovals, concentric circles, or other concentric shapes. The overlay may include a key with coordinates or labels. Properties of the overlay and the key may be customized and adjusted.

Adjustable overlay patterns for medical display

An adjustable exhaust port 2-stroke motorcycle engine with a center adjustable exhaust valve or a split center adjustable exhaust valves includes a closing fork. The closing fork or closing arm base portion is screwed or bolted to a control rod shaft. At least one spring is disposed between a surface of an engine cylinder and the at least one transverse post of an exhaust valve. A first end of the at least one spring is in contact with the surface of an engine cylinder or a surface fixed mounted to the surface of the engine cylinder, and a second end of the spring is in contact with or linked to the at least one transverse post. The center adjustable exhaust valve or either or both of a split center adjustable exhaust valves is spring biased to an open position by the at least one spring at all times.

The reference still image may be displayed either as an insert (picture-in-picture), side-by-side, or the like concurrently with the live video image. In some embodiments, when a practitioner switches a light source from 'excitation-light' to 'white light', the &#x201c;excitation-light&#x201d; video may be frozen/captured and displayed as a reference still image as a PIP, and the &#x201c;white-light&#x201d; live video is displayed concurrently. When the source is switched again, the &#x201c;white-light&#x201d; video may be frozen/captured and displayed as a reference still image, and the &#x201c;excitation-light&#x201d; live video is displayed concurrently.
