Computer technology for content association in file editing. The method includes providing one or more files including a first element currently being edited and including at least one other element of a different format to the first element. The method analyzes changes to the first element to obtain information relating to the changes and analyzing the contents of at least one other element. The method identifies any of the other elements that are correlated elements to the first element by determining an association between the contents of the other element and the changes of the first element and instigates a corresponding change to the contents of any correlated elements.

Content association in file editing

A method, computer program product, and computer system are provided for automatically creating task content. The method includes receiving a video file with an associated transcript of audio associated with the video file and identifying task action terms in the transcript. For each task action term, the method includes: locating a visual section of the video file corresponding to the task action term; capturing at least a portion of the visual section of the video file; and using image recognition for identifying information relating to one or more interface elements that are being interacted with in the visual section. The method includes generating a task instruction document including the task action terms augmented with interface element information and with at least a portion of the captured visual section.

Automatically creating task content

A method comprises: installing the target software version on a first node of the storage appliance; restarting the first node of the storage appliance while also running the current software version on other nodes of the storage system; subsequent to said installing the target software version and said restarting of the first node, determining if all hosts of the storage system have discovered paths to volumes on the first node; responsive to determining that all hosts of the storage system have discovered paths to volumes on the first node, permitting the CCU of the nodes to continue to upgrade one of the other nodes of the storage system from the current software version to the target software version; and responsive to determining that not all hosts of the storage system have discovered paths to volumes on the first node, preventing the CCU of the nodes from continuing.

Technology for password entry security that monitors a text entry field that is not an appropriate text entry field for password entry, and, on condition that a user enters a first portion of a designated user password into the text entry field, then machine logic deletes and/or obscures at least the first portion of the password from the text entry field so that it cannot be espied or intercepted by unauthorized parties. IN some embodiments, an integer number N is designated to determine how many characters must be in the first portion entered by the user before the password text is deleted or obscured.

Technology for providing password security

Communication between target devices using protocol commands being carried out by a target device includes accessing a key for mapping of a plurality of defined patterns of stimuli and defined patterns of resultant protocol commands to a plurality of messages. A defined pattern of stimuli is sent from a target device to an initiator device to prompt a resultant defined pattern of protocol commands to be sent from the initiator device to all target devices that identify as the same device. The protocol commands including Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) specification compliant commands. A selected pattern of protocol command stimuli is sent from a first target device to the initiator device to prompt a resultant pattern of protocol commands from the initiator device to all target devices that identify as the same device thereby communicating the mapped message to other target devices.

Electronic communication between devices using a protocol

A system may be used to redact an image to be displayed by a display device. By intercepting a signal before an image of the signal is displayed on a display device, the display of confidential, sensitive and inappropriate information may be suppressed. More specifically, the image of the signal is analyzed using a content recognition algorithm to identify items of content, which may be redacted by modifying the signal. Using this concept, the image may be redacted by the display device, or by a port or adapter between a signal generator and the display device, without relying on redaction software local to the signal generation system.

A migration replication relationship for data migration between a migration-source volume on a first storage controller and a migration-target volume on a second storage controller, a volume represents a virtualized device. The method presents the migration-source volume and the migration-target volume as a same volume to a host whilst using differentiated target port descriptors to define different discoverable paths to the each. During data migration, the method allows input/output operations to the migration-source volume by presenting target ports of the first storage controller in an available state and deters input/output operations to the migration-target volume by presenting target ports on the second storage controller in a standby state whilst allowing host discovery of paths to the migration-target volume. Once the data migration is complete, the method switches target port states to allow input/output operations to the migration-target volume and to deter input/output operations to the migration-source volume.

Non-disruptive storage volume migration between storage controllers

A storage area network comprises: one or more replicating source and target storage volumes accessible by one or more hosts; a volume replication status checker for determining an active replication relationship between a source storage volume and a target storage volume; and a volume visibility engine for setting the target storage volume to be hidden from a host if the target storage volume is visible to the host and has a determined active relationship. The volume replication status checker is further for determining an inactive replication relationship between a source storage volume and a target storage volume; and the volume visibility engine is further for setting the target storage volume to be visible to a host if the target storage volume is hidden from the host and has a determined inactive replication relationship.

Executing connections from a data processing system to a storage controller using ports specified in a TPG report. The storage controller receives a RTPG SCSI request from the data processing system via a FC fabric. The storage controller determines whether NPIV is enabled on the storage controller and, if so, the storage controller modifies the TPG report to include one or more dedicated N-Ports and one or more multi-purpose N-Ports, where AAS bits of a dedicated N-Port descriptor associated with the dedicated N-Ports are set as Active/optimized. The storage controller sends the modified TPG report to the data processing system. The storage controller then processes an access request received from the data processing system where the access request is received on one of the one or more dedicated N-Ports and the one or more multi-purpose N-Ports according to the TPG report and a device type of the data processing system.

One or more processors on the camera captures the voice command that is from a user of the camera and declares a subject of interest. The one or more processors processes the voice command and sets the subject of interest. The one or more processors receives a camera image from an imaging system of the camera. The one or more processors identifies the subject of interest in the camera image. The one or more processors sets camera one or more parameters that are appropriate to the subject of interest.

Controlling a camera using a voice command and image recognition

An information handling device detects that multiple flows each include a common transaction-specific identifier. The transaction-specific identifier corresponds to a transaction and is generated in response to receiving a request over a computer network. The information handling device, in turn, logs data pertaining to each of the detected plurality of flows in a storage area. When the information handling device identifies a completion of the transaction, the information handling device calculates a total cost of the transaction using the logged data pertaining to each of the plurality of flows.

Organizing individual java client request flows into a single server transaction

Multiple flows each include a common transaction-specific identifier. The transaction-specific identifier corresponds to a transaction and is generated in response to receiving a request over a computer network. In turn, data is logged pertaining to each of the detected plurality of flows in a storage area. Upon identifying a completion of the transaction, a total cost of the transaction is calculated using the logged data pertaining to each of the plurality of flows.
