The invention relates to a handling instrument for connecting to a bone anchor, comprising a first outer and a second inner sleeve-shaped housing part with a respective longitudinal direction, a first housing part internal thread which extends in the respective longitudinal direction, and a second housing part external thread. The handling instrument is characterized by a threadless section of the first housing part in the region of the internal thread, said section extending distally from a proximal longitudinal end of the internal thread in the longitudinal direction and in a circumferential direction, and the handling instrument is characterized in that the outer thread of the second housing part is formed only in the region of the extension of the threadless section such that the second housing part can be plugged into the first housing part in the longitudinal direction in a translational manner at a suitable rotational position and can subsequently be screwed into the internal thread of the first housing part.

Handling instrument for a bone anchor

Disclosed is a device for carrying out a distraction and/or compression of vertebral bodies. The device includes a first and a second extension part with a longitudinal direction, each of which part can be secured on a bone anchor, and having a spreading arrangement for the extension parts, wherein the spreading arrangement has a first receptacle for detachable securing on the first extension part, and the spreading arrangement has at least two arms which form a scissor mechanism, which arms can pivot orthogonally to the longitudinal direction, wherein one end of the first arm is pivotally arranged in the region of the first receptacle and the other end is pivotally connected to the second arm, and the second arm is pivotally connected to a second receptacle which is designed for detachable securing on the second extension part, and the spreading arrangement has a threaded spindle and an inner threaded part which are arranged in such a way that the arms are pivoted with respect to one another when the threaded spindle is screwed in or out in relation to the inner threaded part, the pivoting being such that the receptacles are moved towards each other or away from one another.

Device for carrying out a distraction for a compression of vertebral bodies during a spinal surgery

Disclosed is a device for carrying out a distraction and/or a compression of vertebral bodies during spinal surgery, said device comprising a first and a second sleeve-shaped extension part, each part having a longitudinal direction and each of which parts can be secured on a bone anchor in a detachable but rigid and rotationally fixed manner. The device is characterized by a first eccentric bearing part and a second counter bearing part, which parts can be positioned on the first and on the second extension part respectively in corresponding positions, and in that, at least the eccentric bearing part can be rotated relative to the first extension part about the longitudinal direction of said extension part, such that due to the eccentricity, the first bearing part can be brought into contact with the second counter bearing part and thus a bearing position is formed for forming a pivot joint between the two extension parts in order to perform the distraction or compression.
