A system for monitoring medical conditions includes a conformable medical monitoring device that includes a first substrate layer, which includes an electronics module, many signal traces, and at least one electrode, such that one or more of the many signal traces electrically couple the at least one electrode to the electronics module. The conformable medical monitoring device includes a second substrate layer positioned over the electronics module, the first substrate layer, or any combination thereof to insulate the electronics module, the first substrate layer, or any combination thereof. The conformable medical monitoring device also includes a third substrate layer positioned over the second substrate layer, such that the third substrate layer reduces electromagnetic interference caused by a voltage pulse and includes an adjustable system coupled to the first substrate layer and that changes a position of the at least one electrode relative to the electronics module.

Systems and methods for shielded and adjustable medical monitoring devices

It is inter alia disclosed to determine a type of a second apparatus being connected to a data interface of the first apparatus based on a state of an identification pin of the data interface, the data interface further comprising at least one data pin, wherein the type of the second apparatus relates to a communication via the at least one data pin, to check whether the second apparatus is configured to perform a further communication via the identification pin, and if said checking yields a positive result, to enable the further communication via the identification pin.

A movable member is mounted inside the connector plug housing member. A contact member is provided inside the movable member. Method and apparatus for connectivity plug switch

The present invention provides an apparatus that includes a resistive control block (RCB) coupled to data lines of a universal serial bus (USB) connector charging port and is configured to change a level of resistance between the data lines. The apparatus further includes a sensing and adjustment block (SAB) that is configured to sense a predetermined level of overheating of the USB connector charging port and cause the RCB to increase the level of resistance resulting in the USB connector charging port to appear as a different type of port. In another embodiment, an apparatus includes a RCB and SAB. The RCB is coupled to an identification and ground lines of a USB connector and configured to change a level of resistance between them. The SAB is configured to sense a predetermine level of overheating of a USB connector and cause the RCB to decrease the level of resistance.
