A field of electric drive devices and electric machines, such as electric motors and electric generators for industrial applications, and more particularly to a method, an arrangement and a frequency converter for controlling lateral vibration of an electric machine. The arrangement of the present invention for controlling lateral vibration of an electric machine includes a frequency converter, one or more vibration sensors and an electric machine, wherein the one or more vibration sensors is/are arranged for measuring the lateral vibration from the electric machine and for producing measured vibration data; and wherein the frequency converter is arranged for generating a control torque for exerting the control torque on the stator of the electric machine, the control torque being determined utilizing the measured vibration data.

Method, an arrangement and a frequency converter for controlling vibration of an electric machine

A field of electric drive devices, drivetrain systems and electric machines, such as electric motors and electric generators for industrial applications, and more particularly to a method, an arrangement, and a frequency converter for identification of torsional natural frequencies of a drivetrain system. In the arrangement for identification of torsional natural frequencies of a drivetrain system according to the present invention, the drivetrain system includes a frequency converter, an electric machine controlled by the frequency converter, and a driven/driving machine system connected to the electric machine, wherein the frequency converter is arranged for controlling the electric machine for producing mechanical excitation by the electric machine in the drivetrain system, the excitation effecting an excitation response in the drivetrain system; and wherein the frequency converter or a data analysis system of the arrangement is arranged for identifying torsional natural frequencies of the drivetrain system utilizing the excitation response.

A manually operable valve for restricting airflow to and/or from a patient. The valve includes a body having one or more walls that extend between a first end and a second end. The one or more walls form a passage between the first end and the second end of the body. Two moveable members are positioned on opposing sides of the passage and axially fixed between the first end and the second end of the body. The two moveable members are configured such that depressing the two moveable members inwardly deforms the one or more walls to thereby restrict the passage. When the two moveable members are subsequently released, the one or more walls return to unrestrict the passage.

An electric machine including a stator and a frame, the stator is supported with support necks on the frame in at least two axially spaced support locations. The support locations include a first group of support necks and a second group of support necks. The support necks in the first group are positioned in connection with a vertical centre plane. The second group includes two side support necks positioned opposite to each other at an angular distance above or below a horizontal centre plane. The angular distance is defined by a first angle which is determined in degrees by the formula &#x3b1;1=(90/P)&#xb1;(&#x2155;)*(90/P), where P is the number of poles of the electric machine and P&#x3e;2.

An arrangement for monitoring an antifriction bearing of a rotating shaft of a rotating electric machine. The arrangement includes: one or more capacitor electrodes to measure a capacitive shaft displacement parameter; one or more of the following additional measurement sensors; a microphone to measure a bearing noise parameter, a voltage sensor to measure a bearing current parameter, and/or an optical pyrometer to measure a shaft heat parameter; and one or more processors configured to evaluate a condition of the antifriction bearing based on the capacitive shaft displacement parameter and one or more of the following: the bearing noise parameter, the bearing current parameter, and/or the shaft heat parameter.

A liquid separator removing a liquid from a sample of a breathing gas flowing through an airway adapter having a channel surrounded by a wall is disclosed herein. The separator includes a chamber receiving the sample, and a membrane having an outer surface exposed to the gas flow, the membrane at least partially surrounding the chamber, which membrane separates the liquid received by the chamber. The separator also includes a supporting structure for supporting the membrane, and a connector operationally attached to the supporting structure, the connector being connectable to the adapter. The connector comprises a cavity providing a flow path for the sample from the chamber through an opening of the cavity to a sample tube. The membrane branches from a central part of the channel into at least two different branches extending to different directions.

A connector structure for a fluid tube is provided. The connector structure comprises: a first connector body connected to a fluid tube; a second connector body, the first connector body and the second connector body being connectable to each other and comprising mating surfaces to create a fluid tight seal between the first connector body and the second connector body, wherein the mating surfaces comprise only vertical and/or oblique parts and are configured to press tightly against each other and form a fluid tight seal with the locking mechanism; and a locking mechanism, wherein the first and the second connector body are configured to detach from each other when the locking mechanism is not used.

The transponder is attached to the absorber means.
