A flexible lighting element is provided, comprising: a first flexible substrate; first and second conductive elements located on the first flexible substrate; a light-emitting element having a positive contact and a negative contact, the positive and negative contacts both being on a first side of the light-emitting element, the light-emitting element being configured to emit light having a selected narrow range of wavelengths; a first conductive connector electrically connecting the first conductive element to the positive contact; a second conductive connector electrically connecting the second conductive element to the negative contact; a second flexible substrate located adjacent to a second surface of the light-emitting element; and an affixing layer located between the first flexible substrate and the second flexible substrate.

Flexible lighting device

An easy to use, inexpensive jack plate stop device for insertion into the guide slot of a jack plate to immobilize an outboard motor in raised position is disclosed. An outboard motor is fully raised using the jack plate by way of a hydraulic cylinder; the jack plate stop device is then inserted into the open portion of the guide slot so as to rest on the guide bolt at the bottom of the guide slot. The motor component of the jack plate is lowered slightly in order to fully engage the stop device in the guide slot, thus preventing the motor from dropping further if hydraulic pressure is released. The device may include a handle for ease of insertion and removal from the guide slot. The device may be made of any rigid material having a load-bearing capacity adequate to support the weight of an outboard motor.

A child-resistant locking device for a flexible bag, pouch or the like having an opening and requiring child-resistant packaging which is to be filled with hazardous articles including a zipper operatively associated with the opening and movable between an open and closed position, the zipper being provided with a pull tab having an opening for actuating the zipper and a releasable lock supported on the bag operatively associated with the pull tab opening for releasably retaining the zipper in the closed position with the lock including elements requiring manual dexterity with both hands at a skill level common to an adult as opposed to a child for release.
