An ultra-high pressure (UHP) cutting device for cutting an elongate body from outside the elongate body are disclosed herein. Embodiments of the UHP cutting device have a UHP tube with a top end and a bottom end opposite the top end, the UHP tube defining a lumen for receiving UHP fluid, a static mount for securing the cutting device to the elongate body, a rotatable mount rotatably connected to the static mount, a radially adjustable support member for adjusting a distance of the UHP tube to the elongate body, the radially adjustable support member being connected adjacent to the top end of the UHP tube and the rotatable mount, a drive in operational communication with the rotatable mount for rotating the rotatable mount during operation of the cutting device, and a cutter head in fluid communication with the UHP line. Related uses and methods are also disclosed herein.

Ultra-high pressure cutting devices, uses and methods thereof

A waterjet cutting tool for radial connection to a wellbore casing for cutting the wellbore casing or associated components thereof is disclosed herein. The waterjet cutting tool comprises a waterjet nozzle for outputting a cutting solution at high pressure, the waterjet nozzle for connection to a cutting solution source; a radial adjustment unit for radially associating the waterjet nozzle to the wellbore; and an annular adjustment assembly for mount of the waterjet nozzle thereto, for allowing annular movement of the waterjet nozzle about a vertical axis of the wellbore.

An ultra-high pressure (UHP) cutting device for insertion into a wellbore for cutting the casing of the wellbore from within the wellbore is provided. The cutting device comprises a UHP hose connector for connection with a UHP hose in communication with a fluid source; a rotatable UHP tube with a top end in fluid communication with the UHP hose connector and a bottom end opposite the top end; a rotating means in operational communication with the UHP tube for rotating the UHP tube during operation of the cutting device; and a cutter head in fluid communication with the bottom end of the UHP tube.
