In accordance with the invention, an accumulator comprises at least two galvanic cells that are electrically connected. The accumulator furthermore comprises a control device and at least one measuring device. The measuring device is suitable to determine at least one reading for at least one first functional parameter of a galvanic cell. The accumulator comprises a memory device which is assigned to the control device. The memory device is suitable for storing at least one target value of a first functional parameter. The accumulator furthermore comprises a computing unit. The computing unit is suitable for assigning at least two measured values and one pertinent target value to a first computed result. The measured values are the measured first functional parameters, respectively of at least two galvanic cells of the accumulator. The target value is a predetermined value in respect to the first functional parameter. The control device is suitable for initiating a predetermined action as a function of the first computed result.

The present invention relates to an apparatus, which works according to galvanic principles, in particular to a lithium-ion accumulator or, respectively, a lithium-ion cell, with at least two electrode devices (), in particular, a cathode and an anode, in particular, a separator device (), arranged between two electrode devices, the apparatus () comprises, according to the invention, at least one or a plurality of glass fibers () which are configured or, respectively, operable as temperature sensor. It can comprise a net () formed by glass fibers, or an arrangement of a plurality of glass fibers, which are arranged substantially in parallel to each other, wherein at least one glass fiber () is configured or operable as temperature sensor. Such a glass fiber structure can be arranged at the surface of a separator device () and/or the cathode, respectively, anode device () and can serve as carrier material for this device () or can be embedded into this device.

The galvanic cell according to the invention comprises at least one current conductor and a casing. Said casing at least partially surrounds said galvanic cell. A contact area is assigned to said casing. The casing is at least partially materially engaged with the current conductor via the contact area. The casing comprises at least one first layer and one second layer. The materials of said first layer and said second layer of the casing are different in respect to at least one chemical material.
