A fuel tank fastening assembly for a motorcycle includes a fuel tank, a holding bracket secured to the fuel tank, and a battery carrier. The holding bracket is fastened to a mount on the battery carrier. A motorcycle assembly includes the fuel tank fastening assembly and a motorcycle frame. The battery carrier of the fuel tank fastening assembly is fastened to the motorcycle frame, and a battery is accommodated and secured in the battery carrier.

A height detection system of a motorcycle for determining a load-dependent height of a rear carrier part in relation to a rear wheel swing arm of the motorcycle includes a measuring device connecting the rear carrier part and the rear wheel swing arm for measuring the distance between the rear carrier part and the rear wheel swing arm, and a fastening web formed integrally and protruding from the rear carrier part in the direction of the rear wheel swing arm. The fastening web includes a lateral bearing face configured to receive a rear carrier end of the measuring device.

A mounting system for mounting a number plate carrier on a vehicle component of a single-track motor vehicle is provided. The vehicle component consists of a vehicle frame, a rear carrier component which is fixed to the vehicle frame. The number plate carrier has at least one securing hook, and the rear carrier component has at least one corresponding through-engagement opening. The number plate carrier can be hooked by the at least one securing hook into the respective through-engagement opening, aligned on the vehicle component in a predetermined position and pre-fixed securely in position. The number plate carrier can be fastened to the vehicle frame by a fastener spaced apart from the at least one securing hook along a longitudinal axis of the single-track motor vehicle.
