An armrest for a motor vehicle has a housing body and an arm support fitted pivotably on the housing body. A rotatably mounted bolt is provided on the arm support with a bolt tongue which, in a locking position, interacts with a striker plate on the housing body, as a result of which a pivoting of the arm support away from the housing body is blocked. A U-shaped support bracket is fitted on the arm support and has, upon application of a force for pivoting of the arm support away from the housing body in the locking position of the bolt, contact with the bolt tongue on the side which faces away from the arm support. A support force is thus exerted in the direction of the arm support on the bolt. The support bracket in the locking position of the bolt, engages around at least the bolt tongue.

A retention device is provided for fitting a mobile electronic device in a motor vehicle. The retention device has a storage compartment for the insertion of the mobile electronic device. The storage compartment is formed at least by a rear wall and an opposing front wall. At least at the inner side of the front wall facing the rear wall there is formed a retention face on which a large number of protruding retention elements are provided. Furthermore, the spacing between the rear wall and the front wall is less than the width B and/or the length L of the mobile electronic device and the front wall of the storage compartment extends in an inclined manner, wherein the upper edge of the front wall is orientated in the direction toward the rear side of the motor vehicle.

Retention device for fitting a mobile electronic device in a motor vehicle

A cover is provided for covering a gap between a rear seat backrest of a vehicle and a luggage space cover of the vehicle, which cover extends in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The cover has a surface element which can be pulled out of a housing of the luggage space cover. Arranged on the surface element is at least one support element which, when pulled out of the housing, can be moved from a first stable position into a second stable position, wherein in the housing there is arranged at least one forced guide which at least at the output side thereof has a curved configuration so that the support element is forced into the second stable position.
