A disk brake includes a set of brake disks, which includes a set of rotor disks and a set of stator disks, which are arranged so that every other brake disk includes a stator disk and every second disk includes a rotor disk. The brake disks are displaceable in relation to one another along a central axis for engagement and disengagement with one another. There is a layer of coating material on at least one of the sides of the stator disk for engagement with the adjacent rotor disk.

Disk brake, planet transmission, drive device and work vehicle

A planetary transmission includes a sun gear, which constitutes an input drive to the planetary transmission, a ring gear arranged around the sun gear, and a planet carrier which is designed to rotate and which carries at least one planet wheel, which planet wheel meshes with the sun gear and the ring gear. The planet carrier constitutes an output drive from the planetary transmission. The planetary transmission further includes a wet disk brake, a first set of brake disks in the brake being rotationally locked to the planet carrier and thereby in operation rotating at the rotational speed of the planet carrier. The planetary transmission further comprises an arrangement for circulation of a cooling fluid through the brake which is rotationally locked to the sun gear and thereby in operation rotates at the rotational speed of the sun gear.

A planetary transmission for a vehicle, comprising a planet carrier, on which at least one planet wheel is mounted, a hub arranged for a vehicle wheel and connected to the planet carrier, and a static housing which is connected to the vehicle and in which the hub is mounted. A friction brake is arranged at an outer periphery of the planet carrier and is intended to brake the rotation of the planet carrier in relation to the static housing. The hub and the planet carrier are interconnected by a splined connection. According to an embodiment, an outer gear ring is arranged so as to interact with the at least one planet wheel, which outer gear ring is connected to the static housing by a second splined connection.

The invention relates to an arrangement for driving a wheel of a vehicle comprising a planetary gear set, which in turn comprises a planet carrier. At least one surface of the planet carrier has a toothed structure and extends in such a way that the toothed structure is exposed in the axial direction of the planet carrier. The arrangement comprises a power transmission part and at least one surface of the power transmission part has a toothed structure that corresponds to the toothed structure of the planet carrier surface and an extent that corresponds to the extent of the planet carrier surface. The toothed structures of the planet carrier and the power transmission part intermesh with one another. The invention also relates to the planet carrier per se.

An annular member intended to form a part of a bearing unit includes a first portion which radially externally forms a race for receiving at least one row of balls and radially internally is provided with teeth and forms a gear rim. The first portion is provided with a through-hole in the radial direction through the gear rim, which hole has a sufficiently great cross section to allow introduction of the balls radially from inside into the race.

An articulated hauler, such as a dumper, is disclosed. The hauler includes a vehicle part housing or carrying the drive engine, and a load-bearing vehicle part. The vehicle parts are pivotably interconnected about a vertical pin. The load-bearing vehicle part is provided with at least one first wheel axle driven by the drive engine via a mechanical transmission is arranged at a first distance from the vertical pin. The vehicle part bearing the drive engine is provided with at least one second wheel axle driven by the drive engine. The second wheel axle is arranged at a second distance from the vertical pin. The second wheel axle on the vehicle part bearing the drive engine is also able to be driven via a hydrostatic transmission.

A disk brake comprising a disk (1) which carries on each side a secondary friction layer (7) to which a primary friction layer (6) is affixed, wherein the friction layers (6, 7) are actuable by brake shoes (4, 5), wherein when at least one of the primary friction layers (6) is worn away contact between the secondary friction layer (7) and respective brake shoes (4, 5) will give rise to an indicating sound, and wherein cooling grooves (9) are provided in the primary friction layer (6), wherein each cooling groove (9) extends at least through the full thickness of the primary friction layer (6).
