The invention relates to a surgical device for minimally invasive surgery, comprising a shaft and a surgical module mounted to the distal end thereof. The shaft includes a tube and a pair of sliders driven by the tube via a rotary to linear linkage such that a rotation of the tube around the longitudinal axis induces a movement of the sliders along the longitudinal axis, in mutually opposite directions. The surgical device further includes wires that are each connected to a corresponding slider and to the surgical module such that a movement of the sliders, in mutually opposite directions, induces a movement of the surgical module in a first degree of freedom. The tube is also axially moveable towards the proximal end of the shaft inducing a movement of both sliders away from the surgical module, thereby inducing a movement of the surgical module in a second degree of freedom.

Surgical device

A mechanical end effector comprising at least two movable parts, wherein each of the movable parts is mounted on at least two supports, wherein a relative position of the movable parts with respect to each other is variable by changing the relative position of the supports with respect to each other, and wherein the supports of the movable parts comprise bendable members, wherein the bendable members are equipped with mechanical properties that arrange for flexing of the bendable members when a force applied by the supports of the movable parts exceeds a predefined value and the bendable members are embodied as cooperating bands to arrange that flexing of the cooperating bands provides a visual feedback to a user.

Mechanical end effector

Surgical device having a shaft with a distal end including a surgical instrument, and a proximal end including an actuation device; wherein the surgical instrument is mounted on sliders longitudinally movable in opposite directions relative to each other in the shaft by operation of the actuation device, the sliders provided adjacent to each other within the shaft; wherein in a first mounted position the sliders are coupled with the actuation device and are secured against rotation within the shaft to prevent releasing of the coupling between the sliders and the actuation device, and in a second dismountable position the sliders are concurrently slidable at least partly out of the shaft to a point at which rotation of the remainder of the sliders within the shaft is enabled, and the coupling between the sliders and the actuation device is releasable.

Surgical device, in particular for minimally invasive surgery

A surgical device with a shaft having a distal end to which a surgical instrument is mountable and a proximal end equipped for handling the instrument, wherein the shaft is hollow and the surgical instrument is mountable on inserts that are longitudinally movable in the shaft parallel to the longitudinal axis and that are diametrically opposed to each other. The shaft comprises outer and inner tubes rotatable in opposite directions with respect to the longitudinal axis, and the inserts are coupled to the outer and inner tubes to convert rotational movement of the tubes into longitudinal movement of the inserts.

The invention relates to a moisture detecting module for monitoring a moisture state of a napkin. The module comprises a moisture sensitive sensor and a moisture non-permeable layer covering the sensor. The moisture non-permeable layer is arranged for attachment to a napkin surface that, during use of the napkin by a person, is facing towards the person's skin such that the moisture sensitive sensor contacts the napkin surface. The moisture detection module is a RLC circuit that acts as a RF-tag thereby transmitting moisture information to a remote reading device.

A surgical instrument for minimally invasive surgery, having a handle, a shaft and an actuating part, as well as a gastight cover surrounding the shaft, wherein the cover is provided with a coupler that has a feed-through opening with a lockable seal, through which feed-through opening, after the seal is unlocked, the shaft with the actuating part can reach.
