A golf club head comprising a conformal weight sized to fit within a recess or channel disposed in a crown or sole is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the crown or sole itself is a conformal weight, and is removably affixed to a base structure comprising a striking face and a skeletal support structure. In other embodiments, the golf club head comprises a conformal weight in the form of a sole cap that is removably affixed to the golf club head and covers small weight ports disposed in the sole.

Golf club head

A variable length shaft assembly comprising a shaft, a shaft adapter, a grip sleeve, an actuator screw, a grip, and a screw is disclosed herein. The grip is bonded to the grip sleeve, the shaft adapter is bonded to the shaft, and the shaft adapter comprises a keyed portion that mates with a keyed structure inside of the grip sleeve. The actuator screw comprises external threads that mate with internal threads inside the grip sleeve, and the location of the actuator screw within the grip sleeve can be adjusted with a wrench. Once the actuator screw is at a desired location within the grip sleeve, the shaft is semi-permanently fixed to the grip sleeve by releasably affixing the keyed structure of the shaft adapter to the actuator screw with the screw. The overall length of the assembly can be adjusted and fine-tuned using these structures.

Variable length shaft and grip

A golf club head comprising a face, crown, sole, pivoting weight receptacle with a bore, and a weight cartridge sized to removably fit within the bore is disclosed herein. In particular, least one of the crown and the sole comprises a first weight port sized to releasably receive the pivoting weight receptacle, which extends into an interior cavity of the golf club head when the pivoting weight receptacle is fully engaged with the first weight port such that at least part of the pivoting weight receptacle is suspended within the interior cavity and does not make contact with any portion of the golf club head.

A variable length shaft assembly comprising at least one upper shaft portion, a lower shaft portion and a threaded fastener, wherein the threaded fastener removably connects the upper shaft portion to the lower shaft portion, is disclosed herein. The variable length shaft assembly may further comprise at least two upper shaft portions having different lengths so a golfer can adjust the total length of the shaft by removing one upper shaft portion and replacing it with another upper shaft portion having a different length. Methods of adjusting the length of a golf club shaft without damaging any portion of the shaft and variable length shaft kits are also disclosed herein.

A golf club having features that permit easy customization by consumers is disclosed herein. The golf club includes at least one weight port, a ribbon, at least one removable weight port ring, and at least one removable ribbon insert.

A variable length golf club shaft is disclosed herein. The variable length golf club shaft includes at least one upper shaft portion having a first diameter and a hollow lower shaft portion having a second diameter that is larger than the first diameter, wherein the lower shaft portion has at least one notch, and wherein the at least one upper shaft portion has at least one pin that fits within the at least one notch.
