A device for adjusting the level of a motor vehicle comprises an electric motor () and an actuating gear () which is connected upstream of a screw drive (). The actuating gear () is formed by three series-connected gears () with parallel rotation axes (D, D, D). An input gear (), the number of teeth of which is at least one and at most five, is coupled to the motor shaft () of the electric motor () for conjoint rotation. The input gear engages with an intermediate gear () which engages with an output gear () which is connected to a nut () of the screw drive () for conjoint rotation.

Level adjustment device for a motor vehicle

An actuator for level adjustment of a motor vehicle utilizes a ball screw and a locking unit provided for blocking the ball screw. The actuator has a spindle drive which can be actuated by an electric motor via a gear. The spindle may be fastened to a damper of the chassis of a motor vehicle, to a wheel carrier or to the body or a subframe of a motor vehicle. With the aid of a locking unit of the spindle drive, the rotation of the spindle nut can be optionally blocked or enabled. The locking unit includes a locking element which engages a locking contour attached to the end face of a rotatable element of the gear.

Actuator of an apparatus for level adjustment of a motor vehicle

In a control mechanism with a switchable transmission path comprised of mechanism links mounted on a frame, and with a switching pinion gear, through which at least two mechanism links can be optionally incorporated in the transmission path for switching purposes, wherein the two mechanism links are moveably held on a mount of the frame via switching elements, and wherein the switching pinion gear acts through a switching path to select and/or engage or disengage one of the two mechanism links on the switching elements, the mount can encompass a bearing element that is arranged so that it can move relative to the frame, and comprises part of the switching path, and an insertion lockout can be securely fastened to the frame, and the switching elements can be secured to the mount by means of an axially divided bearing block.
