A radio frequency device includes a feeding structure and a phase shifting structure. The feeding structure includes opposite first and second substrates, and a dielectric layer between the first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a coupling branch and a delay branch, which are respectively connected to two output terminals of a power divider, on an inner side of the first substrate. The second substrate includes a receiving electrode on its inner side, the receiving electrode and the coupling branch form a coupling structure, and their orthographic projections on the first substrate at least partially overlap each other. A length of an orthographic projection of both the coupling branch and the receiving electrode on the first substrate is different from a length of the delay branch. The phase shifting structure includes first and second transmission lines directly and electrically connected to the coupling branch and the delay branch, respectively.

There is provided a liquid crystal phase shifter including first and second substrates opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a first base plate and a first electrode layer at a side of the first base plate proximal to the liquid crystal layer. The second substrate includes a second base plate and a second electrode layer at a side of the second base plate proximal to the liquid crystal layer. The first electrode layer includes a main body structure having a first side and a second side opposite to each other with respect to an extension direction of the main body structure, and a plurality of branch structures connected to at least one of the first side and the second side of the main body structure. The second electrode layer includes a plurality of first fingers.

Liquid crystal phase shifter, method for operating the same, liquid crystal antenna, and communication apparatus

An antenna and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The antenna includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, a plurality of radiation units on a side of the first substrate distal to the second substrate, and a waveguide power division structure between the first substrate and the second substrate. The waveguide power division structure has a waveguide cavity, includes an input opening and a plurality of output openings, and divides a signal input through the input opening into a plurality of sub-signals. The plurality of sub-signals are output from the plurality of output openings, respectively, and each of the plurality of output openings outputs one of the plurality of sub-signals to at least one of the plurality of radiation units.

An array antenna module is provided, which includes a feed structure, a phase shift structure, and a radiation structure. The feed structure is connected to the phase shift structure, and the phase shift structure is connected to the radiation structure. The feed structure, the phase shift structure, and the radiation structure are all disposed on a glass substrate.

A phase shifter and a method for operating the same, an antenna and a communication device are provided. The phase shifter includes: a first substrate and a second substrate opposite to each other; a dielectric layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a first electrode on a side of the first substrate proximal to the second substrate; a second electrode on a side of the second substrate proximal to the first substrate; and a ground electrode on a side of the second substrate distal to the first substrate. The dielectric layer includes liquid crystal molecules, and the first electrode and the second electrode are configured to control rotation of the liquid crystal molecules according to different voltages respectively received by the first electrode and the second electrode. A feeding structure is provided. The feeding structure includes a feeding unit, which includes: a reference electrode, first and second substrates opposite to each other, and a dielectric layer between the first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a first base plate and a first electrode thereon. The first electrode includes a first main body and a plurality of first branches connected to the first main body and spaced apart from each other. The second substrate includes a second base plate and a second electrode thereon. The second electrode includes a second main body and a plurality of second branches, which are connected to the second main body, spaced apart from each other, and in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of first branches. Orthographic projections of each second branch and a corresponding first branch on the first base plate partially overlap each other.

The present disclosure provides a phase shifter and an antenna. The first substrate includes a coupling branch and a delay branch, which are respectively connected to two output terminals of a power divider and form a current loop with the reference electrode, on a side of a first base plate proximal to the dielectric layer. The second substrate includes a receiving electrode on a side of a second base plate proximal to the dielectric layer, the receiving electrode and the coupling branch form a coupling structure, and their orthographic projections on the first base plate at least partially overlap each other. A length of an orthographic projection of both the coupling branch and the receiving electrode on the first base plate is different from a length of the delay branch.

A phase shifter includes a substrate, a signal transmission structure disposed on the substrate, and a phase adjustment structure disposed on the substrate. The phase adjustment structure includes a conductive structure, at least one semiconductor structure disposed between the signal transmission structure and the conductive structure, a first insulating layer disposed between the conductive structure and the at least one semiconductor structure, and at least one first bias voltage line electrically connected to the conductive structure. Orthogonal projections, on the substrate, of the signal transmission structure, the conductive structure and the at least one semiconductor structure overlap with one another. An orthogonal projection, on the substrate, of the first insulating layer is located at least in a region in which the orthogonal projections, on the substrate, of the conductive structure and the at least one semiconductor structure overlap.

Phase shifter and phased array antenna

A liquid crystal phase shifter and an antenna are provided. The liquid crystal phase shifter includes first and second substrates opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer therebetween. The first substrate includes a first base plate and a first electrode thereon. The first electrode includes a main body structure on a side of the first base plate distal to the liquid crystal layer and at least one branch structure on a side of the first base plate proximal to the liquid crystal layer. The at least one branch structure is connected to the main body structure, and is spaced apart from each other in a lengthwise direction of the main body structure. The second substrate includes a second base plate and a second electrode thereon, and orthographic projections of the second electrode and the branch structure on the first base plate at least partially overlaps each other.

Liquid crystal phase shifter and antenna

A liquid crystal phase shifter, a liquid crystal antenna, a communication apparatus, and a method for operating a liquid crystal phase shifter are provided. The liquid crystal phase shifter includes a microwave transmission structure and a phase adjustment structure opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer between the microwave transmission structure and the phase adjustment structure; wherein the phase adjustment structure comprises a plurality of phase adjustment units; the plurality of phase adjustment units are configured to change a dielectric constant of the liquid crystal layer according to a voltage applied to the phase adjustment units and a voltage applied to the microwave transmission structure, so as to adjust a phase of a microwave signal; and phase shift amounts adjusted by at least two of the plurality of phase adjustment units are different from each other.

A liquid crystal phase shifter and an antenna are provided. The liquid crystal phase shifter includes: first and second substrates opposite to each other, a liquid crystal layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode that are between the first and second substrates, a first shielding electrode on a side of the first substrate distal to the liquid crystal layer, and a second shielding electrode on a side of the second substrate distal to the liquid crystal layer. The first and second electrodes generate an electric field when being provided with different voltages, respectively, to change a dielectric constant of the liquid crystal layer so as to adjust a phase shifting degree of a microwave signal. The first and second shielding electrodes shield radiation generated by the first and second electrodes when the different voltages are applied to the first and second electrodes, respectively.

The present disclosure provides a MEMS phase shifter and a manufacturing method thereof. The MEMS phase shifter includes a first substrate having a first surface, a coplanar waveguide on the first surface of the first substrate and including a first conductive wire and two second conductive wires on two sides of the first conductive wire and insulated from the first conductive wire, and a plurality of capacitance bridges on a side of the coplanar waveguide away from the first substrate. The plurality of capacitance bridges are arranged at intervals and insulated from the first conductive wire and the second conductive wire, and each of the plurality of capacitance bridges intersects the first conductive wire. The first surface of the first substrate includes a first groove, and the first conductive wire is suspended above the first groove.
