A touchpad with a force sensing function and resistive pressure sensor thereof are disclosed. The resistive pressure sensor has a circuit board and a Wheatstone bridge circuit mounted on a deformation zone of the circuit board. The deformation zone deforms when a touchpad body is pressed by a force. The Wheatstone bridge circuit has a first upper-arm resistor, a first lower-arm resistor, a second upper-arm resistor and a second lower-arm resistor. The four arm resistors are in the deformation zone. A direction of current through the first lower-arm resistor and the second upper-arm resistor is different from a direction of current through the second lower-arm resistor and the first upper-arm resistor. Therefore, when the deformation zone of the circuit board deforms by the force, an output voltage of the Wheatstone bridge circuit is relatively increased to enhance a force sensitivity.

Touchpad with a force sensing function and resistive pressure sensor thereof

A control system applicable to a touch device is provided. The touch device includes a touch sensor. The control system comprises a sensing circuit, configured to sense the touch sensor and generate a plurality of sensing values; a processor, configured to generate a sensing image according to the plurality of sensing values; and a convolutional neural network, configured to process the sensing image to generate feature information and generate identification information according to the feature information for determining a status of the touch sensor.

Control system for a touch device and method thereof

A touchpad and a sending unit for the same are provided. The sensing unit has two electrode layers and a separation assembly. The separation assembly has multiple deformation rooms and multiple gap assemblies. The deformation rooms communicate with the gap assemblies. The gap assemblies communicate with the exterior environment. When the upper electrode layer is pressed and deforms in the deformation rooms, the air in the deformation rooms is discharged through the gap assemblies so that the air does not accumulate in the remaining unstressed spaces to avoid resistance and to maintain the normal operation of the force sensing function.

Touch pad and sensing unit for the same

A liquid detecting method and controller for a capacitive touch pad are disclosed. The method includes performing a first mutual capacitance measurement of sensing points of the capacitive touch pad to obtain multiple first sensing values, and then performing a second mutual capacitance measurement of the sensing points to obtain multiple second sensing values, wherein the first and the second mutual capacitance measurements using different frequency of driving signals or different sensing periods for sensing the multiple sensing points. According to the multiple first sensing values and the second sensing values, whether there is liquid on the capacitive touch pad can be determined.

Liquid detecting method and controller for a capacitive touch pad

A pointing stick module comprising: a sensing device; a rank unit; a transmission device and a controller. The transmission device is coupled to the sensing device and the rank unit. Also, the controller is coupled to the transmission device and coupled to the rank unit via the transmission device. The controller obtains a rank signal via detecting the rank unit, and determines a rank of the sensing device according to the rank signal.

Pointing stick module and controller

An electronic system is provided, which includes a mainboard, a pointing stick and a touchpad module, a first transmission path and a second transmission path. The mainboard is disposed with a first connecting unit. The pointing stick is connected to the first connecting unit through a transmission line. The touchpad module includes a circuit board, a second connecting unit and a controller. The circuit board includes a touch sensor. The first transmission path and the second transmission path are connected between the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit. The sensing signal outputted by the pointing stick is transmitted to the controller through the transmission line, the first connecting unit, the first transmission path and the second connecting unit. The output signal of the controller is transmitted to the mainboard through the second connecting unit, the second transmission path and the first connecting unit.

Electronic system

A processing circuit of a reset signal is provided. The processing circuit receives the reset signal via a reset end. The processing circuit includes a multiplexer, an inverter and a switching unit. The multiplexer has an output end, a first input end and a second input end. The multiplexer is utilized for connecting the output end to the first input end or the second input end according to a selection signal. The inverter is coupled to the second input end of the multiplexer. The switching unit is coupled to the reset end for receiving the reset signal and connecting the reset end to the first input end of the multiplexer or the inverter according to the selection signal.
