Aspects presented herein relate to methods and devices for wireless communication of an apparatus, e.g., a UE. In one aspect, the apparatus may detect at least one conflict in a set of reserved resources between two or more sidelink (SL) resource reservations, each of the two or more SL resource reservations being associated with each of two or more UEs. The apparatus may also configure at least one of an indication of the at least one conflict or at least one resource reservation forwarding message. The apparatus may also transmit, after detecting the at least one conflict in the set of reserved resources, one or more of at least one resource reservation forwarding message or an indication of the at least one conflict.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter user equipment (UE) may identify beamforming information for transmitting a pre-reservation signal that indicates a set of non-preferred resources associated with a data transmission. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink transmission that includes a transport block, and may transmit sidelink feedback, for each of a plurality of code block groups included in the transport block, in respective physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resources. In some aspects, a UE may receive a sidelink transmission that spans a plurality of slots, and may transmitting, for the sidelink transmission, sidelink feedback in at least one of: first one or more PSFCH resources that occur during the sidelink transmission, or second one or more PSFCH resources that occur after the sidelink transmission. Feedback for sidelink transmissions

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for using physical resource blocks (PRBs) of a sidelink resource pool that, in some cases, might not belong to a sub-channel in sidelink or are assigned to a special sub-channel. When a user equipment (UE) is transmitting a sidelink communication, the sidelink communication often takes place in resource pools that include sub-channels in frequency domain and slots in a time domain. A first subset of PRBs of the resource pool may be assigned to one or more sub-channels in the frequency domain. The disclosed methods, devices, and systems provide for identifying PRBs not assigned to the first subset (e.g., remaining or unused PRBs or PRBs assigned to a special sub-channel). In some aspects of the present disclosure, the UE may use these PRBs for various purposes.

Techniques for using physical resource blocks (PRBS) in a sidelink resource pool

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems (e.g., sidelink systems, such as vehicle-to-everything (V2X) systems), wireless devices may perform dynamic resource reservations to schedule packet transmissions (e.g., data packet transmissions). Different packets may correspond to different priority levels. To support flexible resource reservation for high priority packets, wireless devices may implement techniques for preempting lower priority reservations. For example, a wireless device may identify reservations for transmitting different packets during a same transmission time interval (TTI). The device may determine whether a first or second packet has a higher relative priority and may communicate in the V2X system during the TTI according to the relative priorities. For example, a device that reserved the TTI for the lower priority packet may refrain from transmitting the packet during the TTI, while a device that reserved the TTI for the higher priority packet may transmit the packet.

Handling packets with different priorities in sidelink systems

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a SL communication for moderesource allocation are disclosed herein. An example method includes performing sensing on one or more SL resources to identify a first set of available resources. The example method further includes adjusting a first measurement threshold to a second measurement threshold based on a size of the first set of available resources being below an availability threshold. The example method further includes transmitting a sidelink message indicating a second set of available resources based on the second measurement threshold.

Receiver side sensing for sidelink inter-UE-coordination

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple candidate sets of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions that include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for sidelink communications received from one or more peer UEs. The UE may select, from one or more of the multiple candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint, at least one candidate set that has a highest value for a utility parameter among utility parameters associated with each of the one or more candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint. Concurrent physical sidelink feedback channel transmission

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a time offset for synchronization signal resources for synchronization signals associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may determine the synchronization signal resources and a synchronization periodicity based on the indication and a penetration ratio of UEs associated with the first RAT. The UE may selectively transmit the synchronization signals on the synchronization signal resources and according to the synchronization periodicity. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine that other synchronization signal resources are allocated for a second RAT and may select resources for communications associated with the first RAT based on determining that the other synchronization signal resources are allocated. The UE may perform communications associated with the first RAT based on selecting the resources.

Resource sharing between sidelink devices using different radio access technologies

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may transmit, from the mobile station to an encoding device, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK-NACK) feedback based at least in part on a transmission by the encoding device, wherein the ACK-NACK feedback is associated with a feedback bin, and wherein the feedback bin is associated with a location of the mobile station. The mobile station may receive, at the mobile station from the encoding device, a network coding transport block, wherein the network coding transport block is formed based at least in part on the transmission and the ACK-NACK feedback associated with the feedback bin. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink message via a sidelink transmission resource of a shared sidelink resource pool that is shared between a communications according to a first radio access technology (RAT) and communications according to a second RAT. The UE may map sidelink transmission resource occasions of the shared resource pool to a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) occasion and map subchannels of the sidelink transmission occasions to respective resources of the PSFCH occasion. The UE may transmit a sidelink feedback message corresponding to the sidelink message using a resource of the PSFCH occasion corresponding to a subchannel carrying sidelink control information of the sidelink message.

Feedback transmissions with adaptive and dynamic sidelink cochannel coexistence

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) sense sidelink transmissions to determine a set of resources that may be reserved by one or more other UEs. The set of resources may include a first subset of resources associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second subset of resources associated with a second, different RAT. The first UE may transmit a message to a second UE indicating resource information for transmissions by the second UE, and the resource information may indicate that the first subset of resources is associated with the first RAT and that the second subset of resources is associated with the second RAT. Additionally, or alternatively, the first UE may transmit an indication of collisions between resources reserved for transmissions associated with the first RAT and resources reserved for transmissions associated with the second RAT.

Techniques for inter-user equipment (UE) coordination-based sidelink communications

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support blind reTx for sidelink communication. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes determining a first threshold based on a first number of re-transmissions per packet associated with a first time window, a second threshold based on a first reference signal receive power (RSRP) threshold for resource selection/exclusion associated with the first time window, or a combination thereof. The method further includes initiating a blind transmission (Tx) based on a determination that a second number of re-transmissions per packet associated with a second time window is greater than or equal to the first threshold, a determination that a second RSRP threshold associated with the second time window is less than or equal to the second threshold, or a combination thereof. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Blind re-transmission (reTx) for sidelink communications

A first user equipment (UE) receives, via first sidelink resources from a second UE, a reservation message that includes an indication of second sidelink resources via which the first UE will subsequently receive a data packet. The first UE may at least one of: determine if the first UE is an intended recipient of the data packet, or compare a reference signal received power (RSRP) value of the reservation message to a threshold value. The first UE may transmit a first reservation forwarding message, via one or more third sidelink resources, including at least the indication of the second sidelink resources to at least a third UE in response to at least one of: determining that the first UE is the intended recipient of the data packet, or determining that the RSRP value is less than the threshold value. Some aspects described herein relate to determining, by a transmitter user equipment (UE) in sidelink communications with a receiver UE, a feedback forwarding timing capability based at least in part on a first timing for receiving and processing feedback from the receiver UE, and receiving, from an access point and based on the feedback forwarding timing capability, at least an uplink resource grant for transmitting feedback for at least one of sidelink communications or downlink communications.
