An image control device has display signals and blank insertion (BI) signals. Polarities of the display signals and those of the BI signals are coincident. Thus, BI signals are displayed in a way of 1+2 line inversion and differences of response times are eliminated to avoid affecting MPRT.

A source driver of an LCD includes a shift register, a set of data latches, and a detection circuit. The shift register includes a plurality of flip-flops for transmitting a start signal. The set of data latches transmits the display data signal according to output signals of the corresponding flip-flops. When the start signal is recognized as a black insertion signal, the detection circuit resets the shift register, and drives the set of data latches to output the black data signal, and transmits the black insertion signal to the next source driver.

An image contrast correct system and method thereof is provided. Exploiting Fuzzy theorem to analysis the image, which the LCD is going to display, identify the correction strength to several levels and real time correct the image contrast according to the Fuzzy rule and the Fuzzy decision theorem. On the other hand, all image analysis, correction decision, and the contrast correction will be completed during one frame period. Utilizing this FCC method (Fuzzy Contrast Correction) can avoid the over-correction or the under-correction situation, can improve or enhance the image contrast properly.

The present invention discloses a display panel driving device and a driving method thereof, wherein the display panel driving device includes a plurality of mapping table units and a source driver. The mapping table units receive a plurality of primary color signals respectively, and convert grayscale levels of the primary colors into a plurality of mapping grayscale level values corresponding to a single gamma curve according to the grayscale level mapping relation between the single gamma curve and a plurality of primary color gamma curves. The source driver is electrically connected to the mapping table units to receive the mapping grayscale level values generated by the mapping table units, and convert the mapping grayscale level values into a plurality of driving voltages according to the relation between grayscale levels and voltages of the single gamma curve for inputting the driving voltages into a display panel.
