An optical sensing module including a lens and a sensing device is provided. The lens has an optical axis. The sensing device is disposed under the lens, wherein the sensing device is to receive an object beam passing the lens. The optical axis of the lens deviates from a geometric center of the sensing device. An optical sensing module including a prism film, a sensing device and a lens is further provided. The prism film has a plurality of prisms. The sensing device is disposed under the prism film, wherein the sensing device is to receive an object beam sequentially passing the prism film and the lens. The lens is disposed between the prism film and the sensing device.

An optical touch apparatus includes a first light source, a second light source, a light guide device, a light reflecting device and an image sensing module. The first light source emits first light beam which travels within the light guide device and is reflective by an object close to or in contact with a surface of the light guide device to become a first image light beam. The first image light beam is reflected by a light reflecting device. The image sensing module receives the first image light beam. The second light source emits a second light beam, wherein when the optical touch apparatus moves on a working surface, the second light beam is reflective by the working surface to form a second image light beam which is received by the same image sensing module.

Optical touch apparatus capable of detecting displacement and optical touch method thereof

An optical pointing device for detecting the direction of the user's finger is provided. The optical pointing device comprises a cover, a light source and a sensor. The cover comprises a press portion with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, as well as a side wall extending downwards from the periphery of the second surface. The light source projects a main beam onto the press portion of the cover. The main beam then forms a first beam passing through the press portion and a second beam reflected by the second surface. The sensor is adapted to receive the second beam reflected by the second surface, and detect the second beam by an algorithm to output the first displacement position. In addition, the light source and the sensor are covered by the cover, while the side wall is a flexible side wall.

Optical pointing device and method for detecting an optical pointing

There is provided a miniaturized optical system including a protection cover, a light source, an image sensor and at least one interference film. The protection cover has a first surface and a second surface. The light source and the image sensor are disposed opposite to the first surface of the protection cover. The interference film is disposed between the light source and the protection cover to allow the light source to form a predetermined light shape in front of the second surface of the protection cover and/or disposed between the image sensor and the protection cover to allow the image sensor to receive light of a predetermined range in front of the second surface of the protection cover.

There is provided an optical mechanism including a substrate, an image sensor chip, a light source, a blocking member and a securing member. An optical scrolling module includes a prism, a light source, an image sensor and a first condenser. The prism is disposed at an opening of an upper shell of a mouse and has a light incident surface, a reflective surface, a contact surface and a light emitting surface. The contact and light incident surfaces are respectively connected between the reflective and light emitting surfaces. The contact surface is exposed by the opening. A light beam from the light source is transmitted to the contact surface via the light incident and reflective surfaces. When an object with a pattern structure puts on the contact surface, the light beam is scattered and a portion of the light beam is transmitted to the image sensor via the first condenser. When the object is removed from the contact surface, the light beam is reflected to the light emitting surface by the contact surface.

Optical scrolling module and optical control module

A light guide module is disclosed in the present invention. The light guide module includes a light guide plate, and an optical reflecting structure disposed on a bottom of the light guide plate. A beam is transmitted into the light guide plate through its side surface. Total internal reflection characters of the light guide plate is interfered by the optical reflecting structure, so that the beam can emit out of the light guide plate through a light emitting surface of the light guide plate. The optical reflecting structure includes a first reflecting layer disposed on the bottom, and a second reflecting layer formed above the first reflecting layer. The beam is absorbed by the first reflecting layer. The beam is reflected out of the light emitting surface via the second reflecting layer, and the second reflecting layer is between the first reflecting layer and the light guide plate.

According to the claimed invention, an optical pointing device includes a cover having a transparent part, and a sensing component installed inside the cover. The sensing component includes a light emitting module for emitting light, and a light sensing module for sensing light transmitted from the transparent part. The optical pointing device further includes a light guiding component installed between the sensing component and the cover. The light guiding component includes a reflecting part for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting module to the transparent part, and a condensing part integrated with the reflecting part monolithically for condensing light transmitted from the transparent part to the light sensing module. The light emitted from the light emitting module is reflected to the transparent part by the reflecting part and then reflected back to the transparent part and the condensing part by a shelter disposed above the cover.

In a lens module and an optical mouse using the lens module, the lens module includes a substrate, a light guide rod and a carrying base. The light guide rod is extended from the substrate along a predetermined direction and has a light incident surface. The carrying base is connected with the light incident surface and has a carrying surface for carrying a light source of the optical mouse. The substrate, the light guide rod and the carrying base are integrated into one piece. The lens module has lower cost.

An image detecting apparatus includes an illumination system and a sensing system. The illumination system is for providing a light beam to a working surface to generate a reflected light beam by the working surface. The sensing system includes a sensing unit and a condensing unit. The sensing unit is disposed on a transmission path of the reflected light beam reflected by the working surface for receiving the reflected light beam. The condensing unit is disposed between the sensing unit and the working surface, wherein an optical axis of the condensing unit is deviated from a main optical axis of the reflected light beam.

Image detecting apparatus having an illumination system and a sensing system

A light source assembly provides an illumination beam and the light converging element is disposed on a transmission path of the illumination beam. A light converging element has a top end and a bottom end opposite to the top end. The light converging element is gradually reduced from the bottom end to the top end. The top end is opposite to the light source assembly and has a cavity. The illumination beam is incident into the light converging element from the cavity and exits the light converging element from the bottom end.
