A sound absorber is configured as a rectangular hexahedral box and forms a porous double-layer Helmholtz resonance sound absorbing structure, at the same time, the sound absorber in the form of a box forms a structural resonance sound absorbing device itself, and the first-order natural mode frequency of the device is identical to that of a wheel air chamber. When the box-type sound absorbing structure is assembled in a wheel, double functions of absorbing acoustic resonance of the wheel air chamber under the organic combination of Helmholtz resonance sound absorption and structural resonance sound absorption can be realized.

Sound absorber and wheel having same

The present application relates to a wheel with a sound absorber, the sound absorber being mounted in a wheel air chamber to reduce acoustic resonance, wherein the sound absorber is configured as a flat hexahedral box resonator and fastened to a wheel hub through a band, a first positioning mechanism is provided between the hub and the box resonator to fix the relative positions of the hub and the box resonator, and a second positioning mechanism is provided between the box resonator and the band to fix the relative positions of the box resonator and the band. According to the technical solution of the present disclosure, the resonator is positioned and fixed more reliably on the wheel, and the wheel is simple and economical in manufacturing, and convenient and controllable in installation and operation.

Wheel with sound absorber

A wheel and a rim with weight reduction sockets are provided. The rim includes an inner flange, a middle portion and an outer flange, the inner flange, middle portion and outer flange are all annular and are connected end to end to form a cylindrical rim, in which the middle portion of the rim includes weight reduction sockets; and the weight reduction sockets are of regular hexagons, and are arranged adjacently on the outer side of the middle portion of the rim in the shape of a honeycomb. The weight of the hub is reduced by designing the weight reduction sockets in a specific shape for the outer rim of the hub and selecting the size of the weight reduction sockets.

The rim includes an inner flange, a middle portion and an outer flange which are all annular and connected end to end to form an annular rim, in which the inner flange or the outer flange includes multiple groups of edge weight reduction sockets arranged side by side on one side of the inner cavity of a hub, and multiple groups of inner weight reduction sockets arranged side by side are provided inside the edge weight reduction sockets on the rim; a group of edge weight reduction sockets includes a first edge weight reduction socket and a second edge weight reduction socket at the edge of the inner flange or the outer flange, and the first edge weight reduction socket is in the shape of a right-angled triangle having round angles.

A rim with an inner flange having strip weight reduction sockets and a wheel are provided. The rim includes the inner flange, a middle portion and an outer flange which are all annular and are connected end to end to form an annular rim, in which trapezoidal weight reduction sockets are provided on the inner wall of the inner flange; the bottom edges of the weight reduction sockets are flush with the edge of the inner flange; the top edge of each weight reduction socket has fillets; and the weight reduction sockets have a bottom edge length of 5-30 mm, a height of 15-60 mm, a top edge length of 5-15 mm, a base angle of 72-83&#xb0;, and a depth of 1-5 mm.
