A device () for feeding thread to the needles (N) of a knitting machine, the device comprising a body () destined to be associated to a needle-bearing organ of the knitting machine, and provided with at least a housing seating () configured such as to movably house the thread guide means () in the body. The device is provided with thread guide means (), movably housed in the housing seating () and comprising a first lever (), a thread guide () and a second lever (). The first lever is rotatably mounted to the body () such as to be able to rotate about a first rotation axis (X); the thread guide is rotatably mounted to the first lever () so as to be able to rotate, with respect to the first lever, about a second rotation axis (Y). The thread guide extends longitudinally between a rear end () and a front end (); the front end () extends and emerges from the seating () in the direction of the needle-bearing organ, and defines at least a passage () for a thread to be dispensed to the needles (N) of the needle-bearing organ; the thread guide is further provided with a guide portion (). The second lever () is rotatably mounted to the body () so as to be rotatable about a third rotation axis (Z) and extends between an activating end () and a guide end (), to which the guide portion () of the thread guide is maintained slidably in contact. The thread guide means further comprise activating means which controlledly move the first () and the second lever () so as to position the thread guide () in a plurality of operating positions with respect to the needle-bearing organ of the knitting machine.

A circular knitting machine () for knitwear or hosiery, comprising a bearing structure, needle cylinder (C), a plurality of needles, and a dial group. The dial group comprises a support ring (), a hook plate (), and a thread feeding and cutting organ. The knitting machine comprises rotation transmission means () comprising: a drive pulley (), a hook plate shaft (), a flange () and an engaging mechanism () which operates between an engaged configuration, in which it constrains the pulley and the flange to one another, and a disengaged configuration, in which the flange is free from constraints. A method for closing automatically an axial end of a tubular manufacture and for unloading it in inside-out configuration comprising a step of positioning the manufacture, in a right-way-out configuration, at a sewing or linking station, arranged so that its axis is substantially vertical and so that it hangs, by means of a first axial end to be closed by sewing or linking, from an annular handling device. Then a step is performed for inserting the manufacture, retained by the handling device, into an upper reversing tube that is or can be positioned, with its lower axial end, above the handling device. A step of closing the first axial end of the manufacture by sewing or linking is then performed. Then a step of disengaging the manufacture from the handling device and a step of removing the manufacture through the upper axial end of the upper reversing tube are performed.

The thread aspirating device comprises a mouthpiece () extending between an open lower end (), defining a mounting portion () complementarily shaped to the engaging portion, and an upper end () provided with an aspirating opening (). The mouthpiece is superiorly mounted on the body of the device so that the mounting portion corresponds to the engaging portion; the mouthpiece and the body internally define an aspirating space () of the threads between the inlet opening and the aspirating opening. The mouthpiece and the body overall form, in mounting condition, a thread aspirating device in a single body.

A mobile cam device () for commanding needles of a needle bed of a knitting machine, the device comprising a body () of the device provided with at least a first housing seating () having a longitudinal development and configured to movably house at least a first actuator () in the body. The device further comprises at least a first command cam () movably mounted and associated to the body and destined to interact with at least a needle of a needle bed of a knitting machine, and at least a first actuator (), movably housed at least partially in the first housing seating () in the body and destined to move in a controlled way the first command cam (). The first actuator comprises a first piston () and a second piston () distinct from one another and translatably housed in the first seating, the first and second piston being arranged in series along the longitudinal extension of the first seating and being translatable independently with respect to one another. The body () of the device is one and one alone, and is made in a single piece.

A circular knitting machine () for knitwear or hosiery, comprising a bearing structure (), a needle cylinder (C), a plurality of needles and a plurality of thread feeding points, or feeders (), positioned circumferentially about the needle cylinder, in which the thread is supplied to the needles. Each feeder is provided with at least a thread guide group (), comprising a body (), a pneumatic supply inlet (), a plurality of feeders, a plurality of pneumatic actuators able to move the feeders, and a plurality of solenoid valves () mounted and connected directly to the body (), wherein each solenoid valve activate or deactivates the pneumatic supply to a respective pneumatic actuator of the thread guide group. Each feeder further comprises a mobile cam device () for command of the needles, comprising a body (), a pneumatic supply inlet (), one or more mobile command cams () able to interact with the needles, a plurality of pneumatic actuators which move the command cams, and a plurality of solenoid valves () mounted and connected directly to the body (), wherein each solenoid valve activates or deactivates the pneumatic supply to a respective pneumatic actuator of the device (). Each feeder comprises an electronic feeder command board (), able to command at least the solenoid valves () of the thread guide group () and the solenoid valves () of the mobile cam device (), with the aim of selectively activating the pneumatic actuators of the thread guide group and the mobile cam device (). The knitting machine () comprises at least a pneumatic supply pathway able to supply the pneumatic actuators of the plurality of feeders () of the machine.

A knitting machine, particularly with high gauge, with improved needle actuation cams, comprising a needle holder which supports a plurality of side-by-side needles, each one of the needles is provided with at least one heel that protrudes from one face of the needle holder, each one of the needles has at least one elastic flexing along its extension which determines an offset of its at least one heel with respect to the head of the needle along a direction that is substantially parallel to the actuation trajectory of the needle holder and the at least one path is offset in a substantially corresponding manner, with respect to a theoretical path of actuation of an ideal rectilinear needle with its head in alignment with its at least one heel.

The electromagnetic actuator comprises a main magnet which has at least two polar regions which are side-by-side and separated by a gap and two selection electromagnets, each provided with at least one polar region which is aligned with the gap and spaced laterally from said gap. The at least one polar region of a selection electromagnet is arranged laterally on the side opposite to the at least one polar region of the other selection electromagnet with respect to the gap. The selection electromagnets can be activated individually to generate or cancel or reduce an attractive magnetic force at the corresponding polar region.
