An information processing device includes: a collection unit configured to collect an event log corresponding to an event generated in a control system including at least one network; an extraction and specification unit configured to extract at least one event log corresponding to an event generated arising from an identical factor from the collected event log, and to specify an event log representing the event generated arising from the identical factor in the at least one event log extracted; and an output unit configured to output the event log representing the event generated arising from the identical factor and event logs corresponding to other events generated arising from the identical factor while distinguishing the event log representing the event generated arising from the identical factor and the event logs corresponding to other events generated arising from the identical factor from each other.

An information processing device includes: a detection unit configured to detect an event generated in a control system including at least one network; a connection configuration expression unit configured to visually express a physical connection and a logical connection of the network included in the control system; and an event output unit configured to output the event detected by the detection unit while correlating the event with the physical connection and the logical connection of the network, the physical connection and the logical connection being visually expressed according to a place where the event is generated.

A control system includes a master apparatus that includes a calculation unit and a communication processing unit, and one or more slave apparatuses connected to the master apparatus via a network. The communication processing unit is configured to manage cyclic transmission, on the network, of a data sequence containing data that is handled by the master apparatus and the one or more slave apparatuses. The communication processing unit is configured to start cyclic transmission of a first data sequence that contains output data for the one or more slave apparatuses in conjunction with execution of output processing in the operation unit, and to start, a predetermined time period before execution start of input processing in the operation unit, cyclic transmission of a second data sequence for obtaining information collected by the one or more slave apparatuses from the control target.
