The present disclosure provides a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes a substrate and a pixel electrode layer disposed on the substrate. The pixel electrode layer includes pixel electrode groups arranged in an array in the first direction and second direction. Each pixel electrode group includes a first sub-pixel electrode and a third sub-pixel electrode arranged in the third direction, and a second sub-pixel electrode and a fourth sub-pixel electrode arranged in the fourth direction. The first and third sub-pixel electrodes are respectively located on two sides of an imagined connecting line connecting the geometric centers of the second sub-pixel electrode and the fourth sub-pixel electrode. Projections of the second sub-pixel electrode and the first sub-pixel electrode along the first direction at least partially overlap. Projections of the fourth sub-pixel electrode and the third sub-pixel electrode in the first direction at least partially overlap.

Display panel and display device

A display panel comprises a plurality of sub-pixels and a plurality of light-transmitting reserved regions. The plurality of sub-pixels include a plurality of first sub-pixels, a plurality of second sub-pixels, and a plurality of third sub-pixels, one of the second sub-pixels and one of the light-transmitting reserved regions are adjacently arranged to form a combined region. A plurality of first sub-pixels and a plurality of combined regions are arranged in each first pixel row, and a plurality of third sub-pixels are arranged in each second pixel row. In two adjacent first pixel rows, a pixel arrangement of the combined region located in one first pixel row and another pixel arrangement of the combined region located in the other first pixel row are different, and have the same structures if one of the two combined regions is rotated by 90 degrees.

Display panels and display devices

A pixel arrangement structure includes two first sub-pixels and two second sub-pixels which are connected as a first virtual quadrilateral. The two first sub-pixels are located at two first vertices of the first virtual quadrilateral. The two second sub-pixels are located at two second vertices of the first virtual quadrilateral. The two first vertices and the two second vertices are alternately arranged and spaced apart from each other. A third sub-pixel is located within the first virtual quadrilateral, and a center of the third sub-pixel deviates from a center of the first virtual quadrilateral. In a row direction or a column direction, the first virtual quadrilateral includes a first side and a second side facing to each other, and a length of the first side is smaller than a length of the second side.

Pixel arrangement structure, display panel, and display device

A pixel arrangement structure and a display panel. The pixel arrangement structure includes a plurality of pixel units. Each of the pixel units includes at least one pixel group. Each pixel group comprises one first sub-pixel, one second sub-pixel, and two third sub-pixels. The first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the two third sub-pixels in the pixel group form a virtual quadrilateral. A longest edge of first sub-pixel is arranged to at least partially overlap a first side of the virtual quadrilateral. A longest edge of the second sub-pixel is arranged to at least partially overlap a second side of the virtual quadrilateral. The first edge and the second edge intersect with each other. The pixel arrangement structure increases a pixel density, namely, increases a number of pixels per inch in the display panel, thus a display resolution of the display panel is improved.
