A fastening arrangement (B'), for fastening of an electric motor () to a seat (S), includes a motor retaining element (F, F) and a motor locking element (A). The motor retaining element (F, F) is configured such that the electric motor () is adjustable into a rotational position (D). The motor locking element (A) is configured such that the electric motor () can be locked in a set rotational position (D). The motor locking element (A) is configured such that the electric motor () is retained so as to be non-displaceable in an axial direction and is secured against rotation by a torque lock. The motor locking element (A) has a polygonal profile (P). The outer profile of the motor locking element (A) has multiple surfaces distributed uniformly over the circumference, which surfaces form the shape of a polygon.

A holding device for an adjustment drive of a motor vehicle seat, having at least one connection flange formed from plastic material for fastening the holding device to the vehicle seat. A fastening clip having at least one holding clip, which can be adjusted between a locking position and an assembly position in an elastic manner, is formed on the connection flange on one side and a locking element is removably formed in a rest position on the other side. The locking element can be manually relocated through an opening in the connection flange from the rest position to a locked position in which the locking element blocks an elastic relocation of the holding clip into the assembly position.
