An installation system for a cabin of a vehicle includes at least one built-in component for installation in the cabin, multiple base elements for arrangement on a structurally fixed component of the vehicle and multiple holding devices that can be connected to the at least one built-in component. The holding devices each include a clamping unit with receiving space defined by at least two clamping members, wherein the receiving space can be moved between an open and a closed state through movement of at least one of the clamping members in the direction of the other clamping member in each case and wherein the clamping unit is configured to move the at least one clamping member by pressing the clamping unit onto a base element when the receiving space is in the open state and thereby closing the receiving space including the base element.

Installation system for a cabin of a vehicle

A cabin monument for an aircraft includes a floor panel, which forms a base surface of the cabin monument, and a surrounding sidewall which defines an interior space of the cabin monument. The surrounding sidewall is assembled from a first wall part and a second wall part which is coupled to this. Provision is made on at least one of the wall parts for a fixing section which is overlapped by the floor panel. Also described is an aircraft which features such a cabin monument.

By fastening the side walls to the structural struts of the frame structure, a mechanical load acting on the cabin monument is distributed between the framework and the side walls.

In order to reduce the overall weight of the system, the fuel cell is controlled or regulated in dependence on a current fill level or a limit level of the water tank, as well as a predicted future water consumption. A galley system comprises at least one electrically operated galley device, at least one fuel cell, a plurality of compartments for housing the galley devices, and an air extraction means. At least one of the plurality of compartments comprises at least one air extraction port couplable with the air extraction means. The at least one compartment is adapted for housing at least one of the at least one fuel cell and for removing at least a part of heat emanated from the at least one fuel cell through the air extraction means. At least one of the at least one electrically operated galley device is electrically couplable with the at least one fuel cell unit.

Galley system, method for operating electrical galley devices, and use of a fuel cell in a galley system

A water system for a vehicle is provided. The water system comprises at least one water supply source, at least one water-conducting device, at least one closing valve and at least one germ reduction connection. The germ reduction connection and the water supply source are connected to the water-conducting device. The germ reduction connection is designed to introduce a germ-reducing fluid into the water-conducting device. The closing valve is arranged between the water supply source and the germ reduction connection and is designed to be fully closed thus preventing the ingress of germ-reducing fluid into the water supply source. By means of such a water system it is possible to carry out sterilization or disinfection very easily and quickly without this requiring any major maintenance work.
