A printer for printing plate-like media made of plastic and/or metal such as printing marker cards with markers for marking electrical appliances has various functional devices and an apparatus for handling the printable plate-like media. The marker cards are conveyed in the printer between the functional devices. The handling apparatus has several stations which are formed as receiving and fixing devices for a marker card to be printed. One or more of the stations is configured so as to be pivotable, such that it can be pivoted out of a first pivot position into a second pivot position against a resilient stop.

Printing apparatus is provided for printing information on a vertical stack of horizontal vertically-spaced planar objects arranged in a housing, including a separating arrangement for removing the lowermost object from the stack, and a printing device for printing information on the removed object. The stack is supported by a plurality of support arrangements each including a support member mounted for reciprocatory horizontal displacement by an electromagnetic drive device between positions that are adjacent and remote from the stack, respectively. Each support member is guided during this displacement by a guide arrangement including at least one guide lever having a first end pivotally connected with the housing, and a second end connected with a guide follower roller that is in engagement with a guide cam surface carried by the support member. The generation of noise is avoided as a consequence of the accurate guidance of the components.

Printer having separating device

A label transport device for transporting indicia-bearing labels for identifying electrical and electronic components, comprising a generally rectangular carrier frame member having a generally planar support surface, a generally rectangular planar indicia-bearing label, and a mounting arrangement for mounting the label on the carrier frame, including at least one positioning tab member connected with one edge of the label, and a positioning lug arranged on one of the frame and tab members for engagement with an opening contained in the other of the tab and frame members, thereby to position the label at a given transport location on the carrier frame member. Pliers

Pliers with a first operating jaw and a first plier handle fixed thereto, have a second operating jaw mounted pivotably on the first operating jaw, and have a second plier handle which is articulated on a section of the second operating jaw. The section is oriented towards the rear plier end, having a connecting element between the first and second plier handles for the purpose of forming a toggle lever, and has a catch which is arranged at the front end of the second plier handle and is intended for preventing the plier handles from spreading apart before they have reached their closed position, the catch engaging, for this purpose, in a row of teeth. The row of teeth is provided on the second operating jaw.

The drive device has cam discs (18a, 18b) via which both the relative pivoting of the clamping jaws (4, 28) and the longitudinal displacement of the pull-rod (37) can be controlled.

Stripping pliers

A device for stripping conductor ends contains two stripping devices arranged in a mouth formed by clamping jaws. The two stripping devices can be displaced in a longitudinal direction of the mouth. At least one of the stripping devices includes a stack of laminates which are located side by side. The stack can be moved transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the mouth and has cutting edges which penetrate into insulation of a conductor which is held by the clamping jaws when the mouth is closed. A laminate guidance device is matched to the profile of the conductor and controls the laminate transverse movement in a corresponding manner. The laminate guidance device is located on the rear side of the laminate stack.
