A planetary transmission () with a differential () and at least one set of planetary gears () and with a common planetary carrier () for the differential () and the set of planetary gears () and with at least one set of planet journals (). The planet journals () and first differential gears () of the differential () are seated so as to follow one another axially on in each case one planet journal () and, here, are axially separated from one another by way of the intermediate web (). The intermediate web () which extends in radial directions runs axially between a first toothing plane (I) and a second toothing plane (II).

Planetary transmission with differential

A transmission device for a motor vehicle includes a planetary gearset and a spur gear differential. The planetary gearset includes a drive sun gear, a ring gear fixed to the housing, and multiple stepped planetary gears. Each stepped planetary gear has a first gear meshing with the drive sun gear and a second gear meshing with the ring gear. The spur gear differential includes multiple first and second compensation gears. Each first compensation gear meshes with a first output sun gear, each second compensation gear meshes with a second output sun gear, and the first and second compensation gears mesh with each other in pairs. One compensation gear of each compensation gear pair is arranged in phase with a respective stepped planetary gear. The other compensation gear of each compensation gear pair overlaps axially and contactlessly with the second gear.

Transmission device for a motor vehicle

A drive device includes a drive machine, such as an electric motor, gear reduction planetary gear sets, and a differential. One of the gear reduction planetary gear sets utilizes multi-step planetary gears. The differential is a spur gear differential. To reduce axial length, one of the gearwheels of each multi-step planetary gears axially overlaps with planetary gears of the spur gear differential.

Drive device for a motor vehicle

Drive units for a vehicle having an electric machine and a transmission device are disclosed, as well as methods for assembling the drive units. The method may include mounting the transmission device in a transmission housing; passing an assembly mandrel axially through an aperture in the transmission housing and through a pinion shaft, which is designed as a hollow shaft and is rotatably mounted in the transmission housing; and centering a rotor shaft, which is designed at least partially as a hollow shaft, on the assembly mandrel. A rotor of the electric machine may be pushed axially onto the rotor shaft; the rotor shaft may be inserted axially into the pinion shaft, wherein a set of splines on the rotor shaft engages in a set of splines on the pinion shaft; a stator of the electric machine may be pushed axially onto the rotor of the electric machine and fixing the stator on the transmission housing; and the assembly mandrel may be removed and the aperture in the transmission housing may be closed with a closure cover.

Method for assembling a drive unit

An electromechanical drive assembly for a multitrack motor vehicle includes two electric motors, each with an associated reduction gear. The first and the second electric motor are arranged adjacent to one another and are, aligned transversely to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. The first and the second reduction gear are connected on oppositely facing sides of the motors.

Electromechanical drive assembly for a multitrack motor vehicle

A transfer gearbox may include an input shaft, two output shafts, two output gears, two sets of compensating gears, and a differential cage. The output gears may be arranged axially next to one another on a joint axis of rotation and are rotatable relative to one another. The first output gear may sit in a rotationally fixed manner on the first output shaft and the second output gear may sit in a rotationally fixed manner on the second output shaft and the output shafts lie opposite one another at a front side. At least one output shaft may be guided through a shaft feed-through rotatably about the axis of rotation relative to the shaft feed-through. At least the first output gear may be provided with a seal, wherein the seal bears in a sealing manner against a rotationally symmetrical surface portion of the shaft feed-through.

Distribution gearing and electric drive unit having a distribution gearing

Transmission devices are disclosed having a first planetary drive, a second planetary drive, a hollow shaft, and a shaft which is seated concentrically in the hollow shaft and can be rotated relative to the hollow shaft. In one example, the first planetary drive includes a first sun gear and first planet gears in mesh with the first sun gear, and the second planetary drive has second planet gears in mesh with a second sun gear. The first planet gears and second planet gears may be spaced apart radially from a rotational axis common to the hollow shaft and the shaft, and a shaft section of the shaft may protrude axially from one end of the hollow shaft. In this arrangement, the first sun gear is seated on the shaft section. The second sun gear may be seated on the hollow shaft coaxially with the first sun gear. The first sun gear may carry a seal that rests sealingly on a rotationally symmetrical section of the hollow shaft, which is configured to be rotated relative to the first sun gear about the rotational axis.

Transmission device and electric drive unit comprising at least one electric machine and the transmission device

A drive unit includes a housing having first and second chambers. An electromotive drive is disposed in the first chamber and including a hollow rotor shaft. A transmission is disposed in the second chamber and includes an output shaft extending through the rotor shaft such that a gap is formed. The transmission further includes a gearing arrangement that operably couples the output shaft to the rotor shaft and reduces a speed ratio between the rotor shaft and the output shaft so that the output shaft rotates slower than the rotor shaft when operating. The gearing arrangement includes a first element fixed to the rotor shaft and a second element that rotates slower than the first element when operating. An annular clearance is defined between the first and second elements. An annular seal has a first portion engaging with the first element and a second portion engaging with the second element.

A differential gearing for a motor vehicle, comprising a drive gear, by means of which torque can be introduced into the gearing, a first output element and a second output element, by means of which the torque can be output from the gearing, a differential housing attached to the drive gear in a rotationally fixed manner, wherein the drive gear and the differential housing together form a differential cage for transmitting torque from the drive gear to the first output element, wherein the first output element is arranged in such a way that the first output element can be rotated in relation to the differential cage, and a first rolling-element bearing for supporting the differential hosing on a housing, wherein a bearing shell of a second rolling-element bearing is directly attached to the drive gear in a rotationally fixed manner.

A differential transmission for a motor vehicle comprising a driving gear wherein the driver gear introduces torque to the transmission; a first output element and a second output element wherein the first and second output elements output torque from the transmission; a differential cage designed for transmitting torque from the driving gear to the first output element, wherein the differential cage is non-rotatably connected to the driving gear, and the first output element is rotationally arranged to the differential cage; a sliding sleeve wherein the sliding sleeve is arranged between the differential cage and the first output element, wherein the sliding sleeve has a lubricating recess which extends in a spiral shape in the circumferential direction and is operatively arranged to provide a lubricating film.

A differential, including: a gear housing; an epicyclic housing which is mounted in the gear housing in a manner allowing rotation about a gear axis; a planet carrier arranged in the epicyclic housing in a manner allowing rotation; a first output sun gear; a second output sun gear; a planetary arrangement, accommodated in the planet carrier, coupling the output sun gears in a manner allowing opposite rotation; a brake device generating a bridging torque which places a load on relative rotation of the first and second output sun gears, according to a magnitude of an axial force applied to the brake device; and an actuating mechanism for the purpose of generating said axial force applied to the brake device. The actuating mechanism is designed in such a manner that the first bridging torque generated by the brake device increases as a rotary drive torque applied to the epicyclic housing increases.

A spur differential gear, including a planet carrier having a rim gear carrier with a plurality of radially inward protruding segments circumferentially displaced from each other creating windows therebetween, and first and second hubs fixedly secured to opposite axial sides of the plurality of segments, wherein the components of the rim gear carrier are non-rotatably connected to each other, first and second output gears, a revolving planet arrangement contradirectionally rotatably coupling the first and second output gears via a plurality of circumferentially displaced planet pairs, each planet pair including first and second revolving planets configured to rotate around their own planet axes, wherein the first and second revolving planets revolve with the planet carrier around the axis of rotation and are rotatable opposite it around the first and second planet axes, respectively, wherein one of the plurality of planet pairs is accommodated in each of the plurality of window segments.

Spur differential gear

An axle differential transmission, including: a housing; a differential stage including at least one planetary gear assembly; an input shaft connected to the at least one planetary gear assembly; and a clutch assembly including an actuator, at least one first clutch plate non-rotatably connected to the input shaft, at least one second clutch plate non-rotatably connected to the housing, and a one-way clutch including at least one wedge clutch plate. For a initial drive mode, the actuator is arranged to compress the at least one first clutch plate, the at least one second clutch plate, and the at least one wedge clutch plate to non-rotatably connect the housing and the input shaft. For a final drive mode, relative rotation between the housing and the input shaft in a first circumferential direction is arranged to non-rotatably connect the housing, the input shaft, and the at least one wedge plate.
